INTRODUCTION

The distinctive shape of Grizzly Peak towers over the Grizzly Peak Recreation Area, which showcases California's wilderness areas and its rich outdoor sports life. Waterfalls course down the craggy peak, forests of evergreens like California redwoods flourish, and wildflowers bloom on the slopes. Take a wild whitewater raft ride on Grizzly River or challenge your athletic skills in the Redwood Creek play area.


ATTRACTIONS AND ENTERTAINMENT

Grizzly River Run - Prepare to get wet on this thrilling whitewater raft ride! Fastpass

Redwood Creek Challenge Trail - An extensive kids' play area with a variety of activities including rope bridges, towers to climb, and a swing from one side to another.

The Magic of Brother Bear Totem Ceremony - Storytelling and character greeting featuring characters from "Brother Bear."


TOURING TIPS

Grizzly River Run is a Fastpass attraction. The standby line gets very long on warm days. Lockers are available at the entrance for anything you want to make sure stays dry.

There's a very large wood carving of "Grr", the Grizzly River mascot, in front of the attraction, which makes for a nice photo op.

The entrance/exit to Disney's Grand Californian hotel is located close to Grizzy River Run.


DINING

Other than a couple of food carts there are no eating establishments in the Grizzly Peak Recreation area.
