Extra Magic Hour/Magic Morning
Disneyland Resort

The Disneyland Resort offers two different types of "early entry" options, one for Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests, and one for guests with certain types of park tickets.

Extra Magic Hour is available to Resort Hotel guests (those staying at the Disneyland Hotel, Grand Californian, or Paradise Pier) each morning of their stay. Either Disneyland or Disney California Adventure wlll open one hour early to those with valid resort id and theme park ticket. Select attractions and shopping/dining locations will be open.

Disneyland Park: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. See Magic Morning section below for a list of atttractions.
Disney California Adventure: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday. All of the park is accessible, including Cars Land, but not all attractions are open. Be aware that the lines at the front entrance turnstiles are typically much shorter than the line at the Grand Californian park entrance.

Magic Morning is available to guests who have an admission ticket that includes the "Magic Morning" feature. It is offered only at Disneyland Park, and not at Disney California Adventure.

Magic Morning is included with 3-day or longer park tickets, Southern California CityPASS, and some special bonus tickets. Guests do not have to stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. The feature can only be used one time, even if Magic Morning is offered on multiple days.

Magic Morning is offered on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. It allows guests to enter Fantasyland and Tomorrowland one hour before regular park opening. The following attractions are usually available (subject to change without notice):

During the Magic Morning hour some shops and restaurants on Main Street will also be open.

Please note that Extra Magic Hour/Magic Morning is subject to cancellation when other early morning events are occurring, such as Grad Nites and the races during Tinker Bell and Disneyland Half Marathon weekends.
