Could a NEW Character Be Coming to Disney World Soon? Here's a Big CLUE

Over the years, we’ve met quite a few rare characters in the Disney parks.

Thanks to events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom or Oogie Boogie Bash in Disney California Adventure, we’ve been able to meet some pretty cool people (and animals!). But now, it looks like Disney World may soon be adding another fan-favorite character to its repertoire.

At Oogie Boogie Bash in 2022, we got to meet Bruno from Encanto. But now, he may be coming soon to the east coast.

According to the Disney Auditions website, Disney is now searching for individuals to cast as Bruno from Encanto. The listing specifies that the character appearance will be for future special events at Walt Disney World Resort. Those interested must have full-time work availability in Orlando, FL and will need to be between 5’6″-5’9″. The listing says that Bruno has an athletic build with an “expressive, careful, and selfless personality.”

If you’re an Encanto fan, you should know that Disney has already announced a new Mirabel meet and greet for Magic Kingdom, set to begin later this year. So this would make TWO characters from the popular film in the Disney World parks.

We’re interested to see when Bruno could pop up in the parks! We’ve got the Halloween season coming up in a few months with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and then shortly after that will be the holidays with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the new Jollywood Nights event. These holiday parties typically have interesting character meets, so maybe we’ll know closer to when they start!
