Walt Disney World was closed from March 15th, 2020, until July 11th, 2020. During that 118-day closure, Disney adjusted its ticket prices and its Annual Pass tiers.

Historically, Disney charged more for “peak” or “holiday” season tickets, and less for what was categorized as “value” season. But in 2022, instead of pricing based on the season, the price was changed to be variable based on the day.

The new ticket pricing reflects the popularity of the park, day of the week, and time of the year. It allows Disney to work within those price ranges (offering more or fewer dates at each end of the spectrum) without raising alarms for price increases.

The new Annual Passes released as of 2020 are now:

  • Incredi-Pass: $1,399 with no blockout dates.
  • Sorcerer’s Pass: $969, only available to Florida Residents & DVC members with limited blockout dates.
  • Pirate Pass: $749, only available to Florida Residents with most blockout dates around peak seasons and holidays.
  • Pixie Dust Pass: $399, only available to Florida Residents, blockout dates include weekends, peak seasons, and holidays.
