Disney Vacation Club – What You Need to Know

Disney Vacation Club will host a "spooktacular" Halloween party in the Ballroom of the Americas at Disney's Contemporary Resort from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 31. The event will feature spooky party music, Disney characters in their best Halloween dress, beverages and snacks, face painting, carnival games and a hay bale maze. Appropriate Halloween costume dress is encouraged. The snack menu features holiday-themed items like Zombie Cupcakes, Blue Furry Monster Trifles and Strawberry Brains Shake Shooters. Member cost is $15 per individual over the age of 3. There are no discounts; Disney Dining Plan credits can not be used. Members may purchase admission for themselves and up to 15 guests. A Disney Vacation Club member ID card must be presented at check-in. DVC Member Services began taking reservations September 1, 2015. Space is limited.

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort — A Relook

The last time I reviewed the Caribbean Beach Resort was during an overnight stay in November 2010. I recently returned for a two-night stay to see what had changed since my last visit. After a look around I discovered that very little has been altered during the past three and a half years. So with just a few exceptions, the resort is pretty much the way you remember it. Here are the changes I discovered during my stay.
