March 1, 2007 Expansion Plans at Walt Disney World Resort Fact Sheet ********** Luxury Destination Resort Anchored by Four Seasons Walt Disney World Resort announced plans to convert the Eagle Pines and Osprey Ridge golf courses into a luxury resort and golf community anchored by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Plans include: Luxury hotel
Location: The project will be developed on approximately 900 acres along the northeast border of the property. Timing: Once terms of the project are finalized, site work could begin later this year, with a hotel opening forecasted for 2010. Four Seasons also plans to re-brand and enhance the Osprey Ridge Golf Course and open it at the same time as the hotel. Master Planning and Development: The resort will be master planned and developed by Buena Vista Land Company. Within Walt Disney Imagineering, the Buena Vista Land Company is responsible for strategy, planning, development and sale of land as it relates to the companys Central Florida land holdings. About Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts: Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts currently operates 74 hotels in 31 countries and has more than 25 properties under development. Four Seasons continues to lead the hospitality industry with innovative enhancements, making business travel easier and leisure travel more rewarding.
Value-Oriented Destination Mixed-use Tourism District On the western edge of the resort, Disney is planning a mixed-use retail, dining and lodging district just outside Walt Disney World Resorts western entrance. Early development plans include: 4,000 - 5,000
low- to mid-rise valued-priced lodging units
Location: The project will be developed on approximately 450 acres at the western edge of the resort where the Western Beltway connects to Western Way Timing: Groundbreaking is anticipated later this year, and the project will be built in phases over the next 8 - 10 years. Master Planning
and Development: The resort will be master planned and developed by Buena
