This was a good experience; we were there on June 26, an extremely hot day. We got in line about 11:15 and it took about 25 minutes to get inside. The water station and umbrellas that were available helped as did having menus while in line so we could be ready to order. The order kiosks were easy to use; we found a seat and our food arrived within 5 minutes. The refillable drinks were a pleasant bonus as well. We had the turkey, roast beef, and croque monsieur plus two cupcakes (chocolate and lemon/raspberry) and 4 of us left full. Even our 14-year old who doesn't eat sandwiches was content though it would have been better if we could have ordered the roast beef without the horseradish sauce or gotten it on the side. The atmosphere was great and cast members were on top of things. To us, it was a better option than trying to get an ADR for dinner

Pros:

Food and experience

Cons:

Limited menu

As a group of 6 (including 2 cast members) we enjoyed a truly fun lunch. The decor was smashing and the wait was under 30 minutes. While this is a "counter service" place at lunch, it has a real up-scale feel. We found the ordering kiosk easy to use and the food came to the table quickly via our GPS rose. Be warned that the West Wing area may be too scary for little ones. Our first graders likes the photos on-line and in real life it was too much.

We had the pork, ham and cheese, steak sandwich and a variety of cup cakes. All were met with rave reviews. The pork dish was large enough that I split it with DD age 13. Other reviewers mentioned that the Beast only appeared for a short time. This is true. Be Our Guest is NOT a character meal.

This is a great stop for lunch. I am not certain about dinner. While the menu is impressive, getting a beer with dinner may not be worth the additional cost. Our lunch was $10 per person and we all left feeling full. Note that there are free refills on drinks here. This is not the case in many counter service options.

We got in line about 11:30 for lunch. The line was across the bridge but moved very quickly. It was hot but they were kind enough to bring a cart out to those of us in line with cups of ice cold water. They give you plenty of time to decide what you want to order (they hand out menus in line and there is kiosk that shows you your options). Once inside the building there are lots of things to see! Really an amazing attention to detail. We ordered then found a seat in the room with the rose. It was a bit dark and often filled with folks taking pictures. Didn't bother us a bit - in fact here is a tip: if you are taking a picture of the portrait, wait until you see the rose petal fall and wait for the thunder - then take a picture of the portrait!
On to the food:
I had the Tuna Nicoise Salad - it was very good. A light but filling lunch. Very fresh and tasty. DD and DH had the Grilled Steak Sandwich - with garlic butter spread and pommes frites - The meat was tough and the sauce ( horseradish/mayo)made it really heavy. In fact DH, who has a stomach of steel, felt a bit ill after he ate it. Certainly could have been a problem combined with the heat..but he had to spend a good hour or so on a bench to recover. :/
DS had the Croque Monsieur - he is a sandwich lovin kiddo - he thought it was ok.
We tried 3 cupcakes (DH took a pass on dessert) - The strawberry was excellent - the lemon and chocolate were good.
While we are glad we got to experience Be Our Guest for lunch, we are not sure we will head back for lunch. I may, if I feel up to the challenge, try and get an ADR for dinner here on our next trip. 😉

I gave lunch here a 9, but it really deserves a 9.5. The only con is the kids lunch menu. If your kids are picky eaters then it will be a problem. They don't have any simple kids menu items. That is about the only con other than the long wait.

We got into line around 10:35am on May 28. Restaurant opens at 11am. The line was already half way across bridge. By 11am it was across bridge and snaked around the corner another 50 feet or more. We left around 11:45am and the line was still just as long. Line-up early to eat lunch!

We had the roast beef sandwich and the carved turkey sandwich. Both were huge and very good. Could have used another slice on the turkey though. Cupcake desserts were good. One of the few QS that have refill drink stations so that is a big pro! Food comes out very quickly. Usually less than 5 min which beats most other QS where you have to wait in line to pickup your food. Food is served on real plates and you get real silverware. We sat in the main dining room. Great theming. This is one of the best or maybe the best QS dining option in all of Disney.

Pros:

Pretty much everything

Cons:

This lunch is AWSOME. My daughter (33) and I just finished our trip to Disney (there from May 10 to 16) and ate lunch here twice. She had the turkey sandwich twice and I had the beef sandwich and the turkey sandwich. This lunch experience is worth the wait in line for. We lined up both times at 11 am and were in and finished lunch both times by 12:30. They have the ordering and serving down to a science. After ordering you are handed a red plastic disc with a rose on it and your bill, you go in and find a seat, place the rose and your bill on the table and the wait staff bring your lunch out to you. The meals are on a trolley that has a warmer on top, they come out, find you and serve you your meal. Real china dishes, real silverware. Perfect! The cast members need to be applauded for their patience in dealing with some of the rude customers that my daughter and I witnessed. True professionals! Don’t miss this lunch – especially if you are on the Disney dining plan – it’s worth every penny and the long wait.

Atmosphere, Food, Staff

I decided I really wanted to dine here before I left the "World" so I got in line around 11:15am on 5/10. Waited about half an hour before I was actually admitted, but enjoyed chatting with other families around me in line-one of them actually invited me to have lunch with them! (I declined, but appreciated the offer.)

Once inside, it took about six minutes to get to the podium where they register your rose. The day I was there we did not order via computer screen, but instead it operated as a regular counter service queue with cashiers at each podium. This process was quick and I was at my table within 5 minutes.

I glanced in the West Wing but wow, it was really dark in there so I decided against it. The ballroom was beautiful but too echo-ey for my liking, so I ended up in the portrait gallery. I did notice there weren't any tables for two in there; the smallest I saw was a four top. I did appreciate the fact that you are able to get your own drinks, and that refills are included-a counter service rarity!

My food arrived within 10 minutes of me sitting down. I ordered the Croque Monsieur and the Strawberry Cream Cheese Cupcake. The sandwich was very good, although I did end up picking the ham off half and just eating the bread and cheese! Fries were not that great; limp and salty. The cupcake was delicious! Would recommend stopping in just for that!

I stopped in the restroom before exiting, which was a nice restroom but did seem small for the restaurant. And there were some managers in the exit area who were kind enough to take my picture with the Belle & Prince tile work. Time from getting in line to exiting the restaurant was 1 hour 15 minutes. I'm glad I got to experience it but I won't be rushing back.

Pros:

Decent food, beautiful theming, free refills!

Cons:

Long waits to get in, no tables for one or two

My biggest dislike was that we had to wait 30 minutes just to get in the castle, and then another 15 to order once we got inside. Ordering is done on computer screens, which was a little confusing. One thing I did like about the computer screens was that you could enter in your allergies and it would automatically filter out dishes that weren't safe. It was so much more convenient than having to wait for a manager like at other quick service restaurants.

That being said, the wait was completely worth it. The castle is beautiful, and the food was amazing. I had the tuna nicoise salad, french onion soup and a lemon-raspberry cream puff for dessert. My DH had the braised pork, french onion soup and a cupcake. He said it was the best meal he had all week.

So bottom line, yes you will wait, but it will be worth it!

Pros:

Beautiful theming and food

Cons:

ordering and wait times

Love the theme of the restaurant. It was lovely. We actually got the table right in front of the rose. the kids loved that room.

The food was very good for a quick service meal. It was nice to have your food find you. The cupcakes were very good.

The line was long but it moved pretty fast. I would eat here again.

We lined up about a half hour before Be Our Guest opened for lunch and it wasn't too bad a wait. The electronic ordering system is a good idea, but it was a little slow when we got stuck behind this big group who didn't seem to know what they were doing. The theming of the restaurant is great, and the fact that your food finds you is really cool. My ham and gruyere sandwich was very good, but I think hubby's roast beef (?) sandwich was a little bland.

Beautiful restaurant

There was a long line, but the wait was not long.
The menu is very good, but I wish there would have been a lighter offering (like a half sandwich) to go with the soup. My son and daughter both ordered the Crogue Monsieur, my wife the Tuna Nicoise and I had the Braised Pork, the kids had cupcakes for desert. The food was excellent, everyone was well pleased. It did not take much longer than a regular counter service meal, and is worth it for the decour. A disney world must.

Pros:

Beautifully decorated

Cons:
