I couldn't wait to visit this new restaurant, and I was not disappointed at all! Ate lunch here on Sunday 3/10/13. The food was excellent, I had the grilled steak sandwich, DH had the carved turkey sandwich and DS17 had the braised pork. My only wish was that there was more sauce on the bread, it was a wee bit on the dry side, but not unbearably so.
The ambiance was SO awesome. I couldn't stop looking around at everything they had to offer.
I love how they serve you the food as well, they bring it out on these covered carts so that it stays warm.
The only problem that we encountered was the ordering, it's a little confusing but there certainly are helpful CM's to help guide you along and soon we were on our way. And the dreaded wait in line, however I do have to say that it was not as bad as I had anticipated before leaving, per the boards here on all ears. 🙂

Pros:

Ambiance, price, service, food

Cons:

ordering, long lines, wait

Ok this has just opened and we expected some sort of line to get in at luch, but 1 hour was a lot. The issue here is how you order. If you are on CC or Disney charge you have to do it yourself on touch screens that are not always the easiest to use. So my guess is many people have trouble with this. Given the backup to order and then the high availabilty of table I would guess this is the choke point.

After you get though this the dining area is great, we would have liked the west wing but that was packed. They need more tables in there. They bring food to your table and generally the food is good. Had the Tuna Nicolese salad but for 14 only had 4 small tuna pieces. Overall for 4 we spent like $78 for lunch!

Until they work some bugs out you may want to avoid this. We dined at 11 and the line was very long to get in, 1 hour. In the summer in 90+ degrees we would have said no way.

The themeing is great here both inside and out!

Pros:

Atmosphere

Cons:

Long line, messed up ordering system, food ok

The long line wait for this quick-service meal was WELL worth it! This was our first Disney meal and we were blown away! There were healthy choices for the kids (broccoli- which my kids love!) and for adults and the cupcakes were to die for! We loved the atmosphere and the fact that even though this is a quick service meal, you are served from these really cool rolling serving trays and you get to use actual utensils.

A must do when going to Disney!

Pros:

food, location, cast members

Cons:

long line

We decided to try this new restaurant for lunch, it was so exciting to eat in the new Beast's castle! We got in line around 11 AM, the line was backed up all the way to the end of the bridge and around the corner. We were told the wait was 45 minutes to an hour.

After we had been in line a few minutes, a cast member offered us fast passes to return for lunch around 1:45 - 2 PM. He said it was a trial attempt at accommodating so many people. We declined the fast passes as we did not want to eat that late, but several parties in line took advantage of them. I am not sure if this practice will continue in the future. The line moved slowly but steadily. The weather was gorgeous and the temperature not too warm, if it had been a typical Florida summer day we would have roasted in the sun, there is no cover on the bridge.

The fast passes coming through definitely slowed our line, just as is does in the stand by line at rides. The fast pass parties were taken immediately. Finally after an hour in line, we were directed to a line entering the castle. We were handed a plastic "puck" with a rose stamped on it and then went to order at the computer screens. Many folks were having difficulty figuring out how to order and if the party is large it takes quite a while. Many cast members were available to assist though.

After completing our order, we were instructed to choose one of three rooms and seat ourselves wherever we wanted. Surprisingly there were many empty tables.

The castle is nothing short of gorgeous, the attention to detail is amazing. We put our "rose" on a table and went to serve ourselves drinks and pick up silverware- - yes, real flatware! Soon our meals were delivered to our tables on china, the "rose" telling the servers which table we were at - very cool.

The food was very good. I had the turkey sandwich and fries, real turkey and not lunch meat, my DH had the salad and quinoa - all very good. We split a chocolate cream puff -- it was amazing. Refills on drinks were a great plus. We never felt rushed, the surroundings were cool and the seating was very comfortable. Even with so many people looking around and taking pictures, it was a nice atmosphere.

We felt is was definitely worth the wait, and can't wait to eat there again some day. Snagging a dinner reservation is almost impossible but would be great, but the lunch was much more to our liking, as we did not feel uncomfortable looking around. What a great counter meal experience!

Pros:

great food, wonderful location

Cons:

wait time

I was thrilled to try the new restaurant the last week of January, 2013. We arrived around 11, and we had to wait about 20 minutes to make our way into the castle to order. This was about what we expected. The ordering process was horrible! The line would probably move much faster if you could give your order to a person. We wanted to add soup on & pay for it out of pocket (the rest of the meal was the dining plan). This required a complete new transaction.
As for the setting, the restaurant is beautiful! We sat in the West Wing, and it was magnificient. The food was ok. Nothing fancy. We did like how we could refill our drinks and how they brought it to our table. Hopefully, the ordering process will become easier as the restaurant is open longer. I'm not sure if we would try it again.

My daughter and I ate here for lunch on January 27. We got in line around 10:40 and we were inside with our food by 11am. Menus were shown to guests in line, but there were also several kiosks inside with pictures and descriptions of the food.

Ordering was easy. Someone asked how we were paying (Disney's Quick Service Plan) and showed us what to do. Once we placed our order, we got our rose and were told to find a seat at any of the three dining rooms. We were told where we could get our drinks and silverware. Our food was served to us within 5 minutes and was VERY GOOD. The braised pork was amazing. My daughter had the steak sandwich which also tasted very good. The desserts (chocolate cream puff and triple chocolate cupcake) were beautifully presented and yummy.

After we ate, we were allowed to take a quick peek into the other dining rooms. All of the rooms were lovely. We sat in the main room so we could see the "snow" falling outside.

One of our best quick service meals at Disney

We have decided that we much prefer lunch at Be Our Guest instead of dinner. The braised pork was fantastic; the steak sandwich was moist and flavorful; and every grilled ham and cheese sandwich should have béchamel sauce! It was a pleasant surprise when one of the servers felt we had been sitting too long without food and came by to get our meal number and make sure our food wasn't lost somewhere. Honestly, we hadn't been seated but maybe 5 minutes at that time.

great food; lovely seating

This was our favorite QS meal of the trip. Got there at 2:15 and got in with a very little wait. This place is absolutely beautiful! We ordered the Croque Monsier and the steak sandwich. Both were very good, but I prefered my Croque Monsier. The strawberry cream cheese cupcake was awesome!! I ordered the chocolate cupcake, but after trying my husbands strawberry cupcake, I took his! I love that they give you a rose, you get the drinks yourself and then they find your table to bring the food to you. Can not wait for our next trip so we can eat here again!

Pros:

Food, concept, beautiful rooms to pick from

This restaurant is beautiful! We ate here on Jan 27 2013. The different rooms are awesome but my favorite is the West Wing! Problem with the West Wing - it is the smallest of all the rooms and the most amazing of all so we did not get to sit it there. My DH got the steak sandwich which he liked and i tried and liked also. I got the braised pork! OMG amazing can i say! I would go back just for this over and over! The desserts were so good. I got the Lemon meringue cupcake, oh so good, and my husband got the chocolate cream puff which he enjoyed. The only downfall to this meal is that I was looking forward to the French onion soup so much bc i love French onion soup but it was nasty!

Pros:

steak sandwich, braised pork, desserts

Cons:

french onion soup

We ate here on Jan 29th.

I was rather shocked when I saw the line for this place. It was all the way out to the entrance of the walkway to the castle. We had to have been behind at least 100 people. Here's the main problem: they are using these kiosks without proper instruction and people do not know how to order from them. There are some registers with people but then there are the self serve kiosks and those are just not a good system. I was told to go to the next "shortest" line. I was placed behind to women who had told the kiosk that they were a party of 2 but they really wanted to order separately. They really epitomized the amount of confusion that people had with the system. I got pretty fed up with the foolishness and jumped to a line with a cashier. Finally placed my order - mission accomplished.

The cool part of the system is the little disk they give you that is used as your homing beacon for the server to find you in the vast dining rooms.

The food, believe it or not, was absolutely worth the wait. The braised pork was wonderful. It was quite possibly the best meal I've ever had at Disney. My husband had the "croque monsieur". It is incorrectly named, yet delicious. It really is a grilled ham & cheese but it is top quality and fantastic.

So, go early, get in line (be prepared to wait a while) and enjoy a great quick service meal. Hopefully Disney will address the utterly disorganized way this is set up. We went during value season. This will be an unmitigated disaster during peak times.

Pros:

food

Cons:

the lack of organization
