Hurricane Dorian is currently a strong category 3 hurricane zooming through the Atlantic Ocean. While it is currently located east of the Bahamas, its projected path could cause serious weather conditions for central Florida. It is expected to make landfall over Labor Day weekend.
Due to potential conditions, Disney and the Orlando International Airport have already issued schedule updates and closures.

Orlando International Airport plans to cease commercial flight operations on Monday, September 2, 2019 at 2 a.m.

In an official tweet this afternoon, Orlando International Airport has announced that operation will close on Monday (Labor Day) at 2am. They advise all travelers to check with their airlines for specific flight schedules and updates. This is subject to change, and as of now, there is no re-open time announced. It is advised that passengers follow @MCO on Twitter for the latest updates.
BLIZZARD BEACH
Walt Disney World released its first official statement containing closures for Hurricane Dorian. Blizzard Beach will be closing on Sunday, with no news regarding Monday or following days. There also have not been any updates about Typhoon Lagoon at this time.
RESORTS
Disney also stated they would be reaching out to guests with current and upcoming reservations at select resorts. Guests staying at Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, Copper Creek Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs, and the Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will be contacted to plan for anticipated weather.

No news has been released yet on the remaining areas in Walt Disney World, including the theme parks and Disney Springs. However Disney has stated they are monitoring Hurricane Dorian very closely and will provide updates as they become available.
