Two favorites will be returning Disney California Adventure park in early 2019. Join in the Lunar New Year celebrations January 25 to February 17 and the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival March 1 to April 23.

Celebrate the Year of the Pig during the Lunar New Year events that celebrate Asian cultures and welcome a year of good fortune.
Disney California Adventure Lunar New Year Celebrations 2019
The park’s celebrations include multicultural performances, fun-filled activities, beautiful décor, delicious cuisine and themed merchandise.

A highlight of the event is “Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession,” a bright and bold parade hosted by Mulan and her faithful dragon, Mushu. This year, the parade will feature the Three Little Pigs as a special treat for the Year of the Pig.
Three Lunar New Year Marketplaces will feature food from Korea, China, and Vietnam. Offerings include:
- Korea Marketplace: Kimchi-Vegetable Fried Rice, Steamed Vegetable Dumplings with Sesame-Garlic Soy Sauce, and Plum Wine Cocktail with a Rose Petal garnish
- China Marketplace: Pork Soup Dumplings with Black Vinegar and Ginger, Egg Tart, and Passion Fruit Green Iced Tea with Lychee Popping Pearls
- Vietnam Marketplace: Sticky Rice Cake with Pork, Sugar Cane Shrimp Skewer with Sweet and Sour Sauce, and Vietnamese Iced Coffee
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival 2019
This popular event will return for eight weeks, running March 1 to April 23. The Festival features California-inspired cuisine and beverages, live entertainment, family-friendly seminars, and cooking demonstrations. There are also kid-friendly hands-on “cooking” experiences.
2019’s Festival will include more than 12 Festival Marketplaces, offering small plates, specialty wines and craft beers. Plus, limited-time, Festival-inspired menu items will be served at restaurants throughout Disney California Adventure park.
The Sip and Savor Pass will return and be available for all guests. This is ideal if you want to try a variety of dishes.
