Holiday Sleigh Rides Return to Fort Wilderness Nov. 23

Starting November 23 and running nightly through December 30, Fort Wilderness Campground and Resort will be offering holiday sleigh rides around its grounds.

The 25-minute rides will accommodate four adults, or two adults and three small children, and will cost $84 per sleigh. Participants will also get one limited edition commemorative pin per booking.

Rides will be available from 5 to 10 p.m. every evening.

  1. Great news! Are the Haunted Headless Horseman Carriage Rides during Halloween season also returning?

    DEBK Replies: Well, it’s not a carriage ride, but you do have a close-up encounter with the Headless Horseman during Return to Sleepy Hollow. Maybe that’s what you’re thinking of?

    You can watch the Legend of Sleepy Hollow then meet the Horseman. And this year they’re offering a dessert party, too.
