This month would have marked my 19th year participating in the Avon Walk to fight breast cancer. Unfortunately, Avon decided late in 2017 to discontinue this event. I was/am quite upset. However…..
As you may know, I am a breast cancer survivor. Both my mother and her sister died of ovarian cancer, and my cousin is BRCA+ (a genetic mutation that can indicate a much higher risk of developing breast or ovarian cancer). The Avon Walk may have ended, but my fight against cancer has not. I have chosen to support a smaller charity to continue my efforts: FORCE – Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered. I have been aware of FORCE for many years through my cousin and a runDisney team and am fundraising for this worthy organization.
To kick off this fundraising season, I will be having a PIN-PALOOZA on Saturday, May 19, 2018. To learn how this sale works, please scroll down for details. It will work very similar to previous Paloozas!

HOW PIN PALOOZA WORKS
Here’s how it works. READ CAREFULLY
** The pins are offered for sale at the stated price.
** You leave a comment stating the ITEM number of the pin(s) you wish to purchase.
** I will go through the comments in the order they ARE received.
** I will then put a SOLD with your first name and first initial last name on the pin description.
** Within 72 hours I will send you the link information for my FORCE Fundraising page and you will have 48 hours to make your donation. Once that happens you will get an email confirmation. Forward me a copy of the donation receipt along with your shipping address — pins will be mailed in approximately 3-10 days.
Your ENTIRE purchase price goes directly to my FORCE Fundraising Account. I pay postage and WILL SHIP TO US ONLY. You get pin(s) you want and a charity deduction too! I raise money and reduce my pin collection.
