The last time I ate here, I had the taco salad, which when fixed up from the toppings bar, was good. This time, no taco salad and a pared down toppings bar with no hot cheese. I wasn't starving and thought the kids grilled cheese sounded good. Except that it was a slice of American cheese melted between a goldfish thin bun. Not great. At all. The grapes and carrots it came with were good and a nice change of pace from fries. The best part of my visit was a big scoop of sautéed mushrooms from the toppings bar. It's a convenient location but there are definitely better places to eat at the Magic Kingdom.

I wasn't impressed with any of the items I got here. And the noise inside of all the indoor sitting areas was a bit overwhelming. If you're ok with Mexican style cafeteria food this is fine but I think there are better places to eat.
Pros:
Options for kids and picky eaters, decent price for what you get.Cons:
If you're looking to escape the crowds and have a sensory break the echo in the rooms really do nothing to help. Food presentation was definitely cafeteria style.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 08/11/2023

This used to be my favorite food place in the world. I’d genuinely tell everyone about it, even when I was at home. Unfortunately, during my last Disney trip, my family and I came to the conclusion that this place just is not the same anymore. 🙁
Pros:
Lots of indoor seatingCons:
There is better dining in MKReviewed by jannielane Review Date: 12/13/2022

Meh. Not as bad as Taco Bell, but not the greatest tacos. My main complaint about the Taco Trio was that the fillings were not drained, so it was hard to eat a taco and not have juices drip down your arm. Overall, however, an ok experience and a convenient location. Nothing special, but good for a quick meal.
Pros:
Good location; ok foodCons:

We ate here during our Keys to the Kingdom tour. The nachos and queso were fine, but I did not care for the chicken, probably should've picked beef or pork.
Pros:
Lots of seating, shaded.Cons:
Didn't care for the chicken with the nachosReviewed by ktkueb80 Review Date: 02/28/2022

Ate lunch here on 2/23/22 with DH and DS (age 8). DH had the fajitas and a soft drink, I had the beef nachos platter with rice, a soft drink and a cake pop (that DS snatched up). Seating was tricky. Food was alright, nothing amazing, nothing horrible. Definitely miss the topping bar!
Pros:
different variety of quick service foodCons:
mediocre food, miss the toppings bar, crowdedReviewed by MollysBiggestFans Review Date: 08/30/2021

The food was just ok here. The Chicken they used for the tacos was not liked by any of the 7 in our party. The beef was just ok, I could make the same thing at home. Overall, I would not eat here again.
Pros:
-Lots of indoor seating -Somewhat adventurous for some eatersCons:
-Chicken is meh, at best -better Mexican/southwesteren food elsewhereReviewed by MTomuschatxDisney Review Date: 04/20/2021

I normally really enjoy going to Pecos Bills, especially pre COVID. My boyfriend and I went here last week, April 2021 because I kept raving about how tasty it was but the food really just ended up reminding me of cat food. Not only that I had to go ask for ice waters several times because they kept giving the teeny tiny kids cups that the average adult on a 85 degree days drinks in two gulps. I did ask for the LG cups all 3 times going up there but they just kept giving the small ones and they were being rude about it. Hopefully this turns around when COVID is in the past and things are normal again. It just seems like everything here went down hill when the parks reopened.
Pros:
Toppings Bar (pre-COVID) Has its own restroomCons:
Food went downhill People stand and watch you eat with angry eyes because they want your inside tableReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 03/03/2020

I came here on Thanksgiving Break to give this place a try as a lot of people raved about how good this place was. When my group walked in, we noticed how incredibly loud the place actually was. A lot of people come to this place, which can be a con for some people like me who aren't a big fan of crowds. We came during an off-time too, so that was a good sign that this place could've been good. I ended up ordering the Taco Trio(I chose the chicken, beef, and pork tacos) and it was okay. I loved the flavors of the seasoning that they put on, but I am not a big fan of soft-shelled tacos. Since they put so much of the filling, the tortilla sort of fell apart. Also, something to keep in mind is that the adult portions here, depending on the group, can be shared. I was only able to eat two of my tacos; I gave the pork taco away. Someone else in my group got the Taco Trio as well, but instead of getting the pork taco, they got a cauliflower taco. They thought that the cauliflower taco was a bit too spicy for their taste but other than that it was great! Overall, I thought this place was a great quick service to stop at whenever you're in Frontierland, but this wouldn't be my go-to place to grab some grub.
