5 Things Disney Adults Eat That I Just Don’t Understand

Disney World is home to all sorts of iconic snacks.

Here for the SNACKS!

From Mickey Waffles to DOLE Whips, there are a few snacks specific to the Disney Parks that we Disney fans rave about. However, are these snacks only popular among Disney Adults? Well, we asked our readers in hopes of finding out! We asked them on Facebook to share with us the ONE Disney snack that Disney Adults eat that they just don’t understand. Their answers were hilariously consistent, and we got a few shocking responses as well. Let’s talk about it!

According to our readers, there is ONE Disney Parks snack that takes the cake for being…well, the worst. Can you guess the controversial snack that most of our readers just don’t understand?

You guessed it.

Turkey Legs

Yep, the Turkey Leg was by FAR the most popular answer among our readers. These gigantic, smoked turkey legs are considered to be an iconic Disney snack, but it seems that for every person who loves this food, there are another three who don’t understand it!

How delicious… 😳

You can grab this at both Disney World and at Disneyland.  They look very cartoonish on the outside, but on the inside, they look much less appealing to many. They’re pink and stringy, and some readers mentioned they don’t enjoy dark meat.

The rest of the answers we kind of had to hunt for. Turkey Legs are really the only snack that we noticed has a devoted Hate Club. However, there were a few more snacks people didn’t understand purchasing, so let’s talk about those!

Popcorn

So, most of our readers like popcorn. That’s not the issue here. The issue is that the popcorn sold in the parks is PopSecret popcorn, which you can get at the local Walmart.

A few of our readers find that popcorn just isn’t worth the Disney World price while at the parks.

DOLE Whip

This one may surprise you, but there were quite a few of our readers who felt strongly about DOLE Whips…in a bad way. No explanation was given. Just slander.

DOLE Whip

Maybe they don’t like ice cream? Maybe they don’t like pineapple ice cream? Dietary restrictions? Can’t justify the price? To some, this iconic Disney dessert just doesn’t make sense.

Cheeseburger Spring Rolls

Cheeseburger Spring Rolls can only be found in Adventureland in Magic Kingdom. They’re a twist on a classic spring roll, but the filling is meat and cheese.

What throws a lot of people off is that they have the taste of a burger but a texture unlike a burger OR a spring roll, aside from the fact that the outer shell/breading is crispy like a typical spring roll. We’ve heard some say that the texture is too much and that the snack is too dense.

Frozen Bananas

At a few of the outdoor vending carts throughout Disney World, you can grab frozen bananas and frozen chocolate bananas. In our experience, bananas are usually kind of soggy inside the coating, so we can see how readers aren’t fans.

Also…these can be bought at the store or made at home and it will likely be cheaper than Disney World.

  1. Popcorn is one I don’t understand since you can get popcorn in so many other different places. While I’m not a fan of the other four offerings in this article (yes, even the dole whip), at least they are somewhat unique and difficult to find outside of a Disney park.
