Disney Reveals Details About NEW ‘Star Wars’ Celebration — Season of the Force

It’s been a VERY exciting time to be a Star Wars fan.

Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland

We recently learned about some new scenes coming soon to Star Tours. Then there are the Star Wars Nites coming up soon in Disneyland. Also, Disneyland’s Season of the Force celebration will be starting on April 5th and lasting through June 2nd, and we recently got new details about it.

Okay, so you may know that you can watch Disneyland’s nighttime fireworks show from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, but something NEW is coming to that experience.

On select nights starting on April 5th, you will be able to watch “Fire of the Rising Moons,” a NEW version of Disneyland’s nighttime show complete with that iconic Star Wars music. You’ll be able to see “Fire of the Rising Moons” from several viewing areas in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, including the Black Spire Spaceport, the TIE Echelon docking platform, and the speeder garage. If you have a MagicBand+, you’ll also notice how it interacts with the display.

As we previously mentioned, Star Tours — The Adventures Continue will premiere its NEW scenes on April 5th with the planet Peridea, as the ride’s new destination. You’ll also get transmissions from Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, or Din Djarin and Grogu.

You’ll also be able to indulge in some new Star Wars-themed drinks and snacks for a limited time, including this fun Star Wars sugar cookie. Also, expect some new “collectible novelties.” We’re guessing that means new popcorn buckets and sippers.

A new Magic Shot will also be available through Disney’s PhotoPass service that will feature Din Djarin, Grogu, and more. Some previous Magic Shots will also be returning, as well as themed PhotoPass Lenses (which you can get free when you purchase Genie+).
