Are you counting down the days until the May 31 opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland? One way Disneyland is prepping for the crowds is a new parking structure for 6,500 cars and a pedestrian walkway over Magic Way.

On our latest visit to Disneyland we caught up on the progress of this project.
In our last update from contributing photographer Jason of disneygeek.com, we could see where the escalators would be installed. Now we can see they are almost completely installed.

The “ceiling” of this area is also nearing completion.

Have you been watching the progress of this parking garage expansion project? Do you think it will help with the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge crowds? Let us know in the comments below!
