Why did it take me 10 years to come here!!! OMG this place was awesome. The atmosphere is just something you really will not get anywhere else. The service is top notch and the food was really good as well. My two kids 10 and 14 both loved and enjoyed the b movies on the screen. Reservations are a must!

Neat place to eat with a movie theater screen to keep the kids entertained. The food was good but nothing super exciting or out of the ordinary to choose from. It was the middle of the afternoon when we were there and it was pretty empty. It was a nice place to relax for awhile in the middle of the afternoon.
Pros:
Movie screenCons:
YOu are in rows facing the same way. SO the kids sat in front of us. If you needed to cut your food up or help your kids with their food, you would have to get out of your seat.Reviewed by JenC Review Date: 05/03/2018

My family and I ate here the week of April 24, 2018. It's probably our fourth time eating here and the drive-in cars and old movies never disappoint. Happy that on this trip they added a vegetarian option--the caprese sandwich. Also, the milkshakes was the best I had during the whole trip--try the Oreo one! Our server did a great job fulfilling the requests of the picky eaters in our party--my daughter who wants salad with no bacon and extra dressing, and my parents who wanted burgers with nothing on them but everything on the side. Great place to relax out of the sun!
Pros:
cool theme, great milkshakesCons:

This place has really stepped up it's game.
We've eaten there 3 times over the last 5-6 years. This was by far the best.
I had the salmon salad. It was beyond my expectation. Daughter had strip steak and loved it. Husband had the reuben. He and I split our meals. The waitress had the kitchen separate the salad for us into 2 bowls. Much appreciated.
I had a cocktail, which was good too.
They take Tables in Wonderland which is great.
It was just a fun time with terrific service and above average food.

I love the idea of this experience! It's like you are transported back in time to an old drive-in theater. You even get to sit at tables that look like you are in an old 50's style convertible car! You watch old sci-fi trailers on the movie screen while you ate. It was hilarious seeing the terrible special effects and bad acting used in the old movies.
I ordered the new-york strip steak with mac & cheese and green beans. It was fantastic!
Hubby got the Beef & Bleu burger & loved it.
For dessert, we got the donuts and the hot fudge sundae. Way too much food, but very good!

The food here was really good but the atmosphere wasn't what we expected. We thought they would show actual sci-fi movie shorts but it turned out to be what looked like the commercials that play before a sci-fi movie. The car we sat in was very dark and next to a speaker so it was really loud. My husband had the burger and I had the blackened pasta. It was a good thing the burger was so good otherwise we wouldn't suggest it to anyone.

Great themingCons:

The best part of the Sci-fi is the atmosphere and the milk shakes. My family of 6 adults ate here on Aug 9th and had a wonderful time. The food is fine but they need to expand the menu a little. We had the steak dinner, boneless wings and burgers and everyone enjoyed their food. It's dark inside so we needed to use the spot light on our phones to see the menu. This is a must do whenever we visit Hollywood Studios.

This is a must do on all our DW trips. We always get the build your own angus burger. Delicious. And the fries are excellent as well. Yes, it's the same trailers being shown as always, but we only go once a year so it's still fun and never gets old to us. Try the chocolate milkshake. YUM!

Full disclosure: I do LOVE this place...the atmosphere and theming are wonderful, but it definitely needs an update on the loop of trailers played on the big screen. Also, the food has really gone downhill. We first ate here in 2004 on our honeymoon, and the food was very good. We ate here last week, and it was a very basic hamburger that I ate. The Oreo milkshake was very good (they always have been) but I was unimpressed with the burger...which also had cheese & bacon, and still not good. I've had better burgers at McDonald's to be honest. We will be back I'm sure, but I really hope they step up their game in the kitchen.
