The new menu is not good. The salad has olives which doesn’t really go with the meal. No more fresh tomatoes etc… The spoon bread is buttery mush. They should have kept the dressing. There is no longer flavored butter or exceptional bread. This used to be our favorite restaurant but not anymore.

Pros:

The staff was very courteous and it’s clean.

Cons:

The characters came by way too often so the children didn’t eat well.

The turkey was very dry, the mashed potatoes were very thin and not fluffy, but this seems to be the trend in Disney as this was the same with Be our Guest and 50's Prime Time. The dish I enjoyed most was the salad and I'm very much a a meat and potatoes person. My husband thought the food was decent but not much moree and I struggled to eat much of the meats as the turkey was very dry and lacking flavor and I wasn't a fan of the beef. The corn succotash was decent and the only other thing besides salad I put on my plate that I finished. The food is rather bland really not worth the hefty price tag. My husband and I don't eat enough to justify the price tag of all you can eat and this meal was rather disappointing. Also of all of our dining reservation this sucked a full hour out of our day, whereas the others including Be our Guest were around 30ish minutes, I think a full rotation of the restaurant is roughly an hour so they time the courses so you can o all the way around. The rotation and view of Living with the Land isn't anything spectacular either. I thought the waiter might tell us more about food items that came from Living with the Land but that did not happen. The characters were fun to see, but difficult to interact with as they were behind and above your booth and you had to turn around and sit up on knees to see, also only once did as cast member come around as characters were out to take a photo and selfies were difficult. The meal just is not worth the high cost or time out of the park.

Pros:

characers

Cons:

food

We dined here Monday, January 28th for lunch. We were some of the very first seated for lunch service. It was just okay. We had a good server, but I felt like were being very rushed. He was not going to ask if we wanted more of anything, he was too concerned to get us the next thing, and then the bill. I have had many Disney meals, and never felt this rushed. The food was good, but not great. You know what you are going to get going into the meal, but the quality was not so great that it made the simple food any better. The best part of the meal was the experience of dining in a restaurant rotating through an attraction...plus characters! They did all come by at least twice and gave us lots of attention. If you are on the dining plan, then this is a great use of a 1 credit meal. We were not this trip, and therefore I do not think this was worth the $170 for two adults and a child. (including tip) I am glad I can say we did it, but most likely would not be back again.

Pros:

unique experience, character interaction, good for those with simple tastes

Cons:

price, felt rushed, set menu

Our family of 5 ate here on May 2,2015. We had the dining plan so I'm not sure how much we paid. The restaurant was very nice. Our table had a great view of Living with the Land. We were able to meet Chip, Dale, Pluto and Mickey. The food was okay. We were served salad, rolls, turkey, beef, mashed potatoes, sweet potato fries, macaroni and cheese, broccoli and rice. I can honestly say that there wasn't a single item that really stood out to me... It was all just okay. I only recommend this meal to families with small children or those who enjoy bland food.

Pros:

Friendly staff, characters

Cons:

Food was just okay

The food here was delicious. My dad, a very picky meat-eater, said the pot roast was his favorite food of the entire week. The salad, green beans, rolls, new addition of potato salad, stuffing, and mashed potatoes were delicious as well. The dessert was absolutely perfect. Crisp and sweet, with the right amount of berries and whipped cream.

The character interaction was plentiful and not rushed. My son loved getting to see the characters multiple times.

We love how the restaurant rotates and we get new scenery every few minutes.

My one complaint is that we checked in about 5-10 minutes early, and still had to wait 25 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. When seated, our waiter was extremely rushed and overwhelmed. Dinner took over 90 minutes. Just getting and paying the check turned into a huge, lenghty ordeal and we asked for it early. We missed Illuminations because of this. We will definitely be back but will try for an earlier ADR.

Pros:

Food was great, even for a vegetarian

Cons:

Long wait for our table, meal took forever

We ate here on 1/31/2017. We were on the dining plan and are 2 adults and a 13 yr old. We arrived a bit early for our adr and we were 3 not 5 and the gentleman was cute nice and checked us in. We found a bench and waited briefly maybe at most 10 minutes. Long enough to hit the restrooms and chat minimally. The waitress was Lisa very friendly guessed my sons age because she saw it was his bday. Didn't live the table. It was bottom level which I like but it was set up for 8 and they put a family of four next to us so it was awkward. The tossed salad itself was good but the dressing a little to tangy and drenched in the lettuce. The butter for the rolls was yummy the rolls were hard. The mac and cheese bland and didn't taste like Stouffer. My son had that. The bed and the turkey were ok had to wait a ling time for more. Mashed potatoes were a little to loose. Dessert was strawberry shortcake. We can usually see the characters twice in one time around the restaurant and they ae very interactive. Not this time we had to go longer than one time and waited for Mickey and Pluto. For being so quick at each table waiting shouldn't have been an issue. Loved this place in the past not sure it was worth it this time just a little lack luster.

Pros:

friendly cm short way for adr

Cons:

slow lack luster chatacters

This is the restaurant were we enjoyed the food the least. The harvest platter was consisted of mostly meat and we found the food average. The revolving restaurant is quite unique and the kids got a lot of interaction with the characters. They even came by the table twice. But we would not go back.

Pros:

Fun experience

Cons:

Average food & noisy

We ate here on Jan 18th. We will not go back. We sat on the lower level, and the rolls were good. But that was the best aspect of the meal. The salad was good, but average. My children would only eat the mac n cheese, and when asked to bring more than the cup that came with the first serving, he brought one more small bowl and that was it. They gobbled it up and we got no more. The beef was fair, and properly cooked. The fish was ok, the turkey was horribly salty and the dressing DRY. When asked for more beef, it was about 10 to 13 minutes in coming and it was the same size as the original portion, three small slices. Overpriced, in our opinion. Dessert was a berry dish we did not want or eat. almost $40 for a bowl of mac n cheese split between two kids. The characters were nice though, although they seemed to be in a hurry. . . which I do not know why, they came around three times. We were only there for one full revolution of the restaurant.

Pros:

the rolls, characters

Cons:

Food was cooked well and we left feeling full and satisfied! Characters came around multiple times and we loved the location. Unfortunately the restaurant was not spinning on our visit but we had a great location anyway so it was ok.

Pros:

Good food Fun to see living with the land while you eat Tons of interactions with characters

Cons:

By the 4th visit of characters it got a little old for us as adults but my kiddo loved it!
