Honestly, what makes this ride so good? A boring queue? A ride experience where you just look at a screen? No feelings of euphoria, or complete awe, or thrill sensation? I’m not sure what I’m supposed to get from this ride....at least the smell of oranges blocks out the smell of people’s feet!
Pros:
You go high and fly!Cons:
Usually a long lineReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 03/15/2020

If this was still soarin over California I would give it a 9.8. But soarin over the world is NOT as good. The CGI is no as good as actual footage. The tall objects show the curvature of the screen. And where are the smells like the oranges. Soarin over CA has been a must see for me. Over the would I can pass. Why didn’t Disney creat soarin over Florida? Hey Disney drop over the would and creat a Soarin over Florida and keep it real!
Pros:
Love the mechanics of the rideCons:
Over the world is not real and shows curvature of the screenReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 03/15/2020

NOT ‘Soarin’ Over California’! Don’t care for the CGI representation, enjoy actual video footage over computer generated. Sitting in middle and still curved screen. Doesn’t have the great smells of the original. I give this one a low rank, but if the put back Soarin’ Over California, I’d give it a 10. Better yet - do a Soarin’ Over Florida for Disney World!
Pros:
Actual physical ride - moving against an iMax movie screen. When working smells and spritzes.Cons:
Computer generated video, Visible curvatures of scenery, Seriously pales in comparison to the original.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 10/03/2022

Tucked away in the Land Pavilion along with Living with the Land, this groundbreaking ride takes you on a journey around the world. Literally. As you take a seat in your hang glider, you rise 79 feet as your feet dangle above deserts, oceans, polar bears, pyramids, and end off back where you became in a beautiful nighttime firework show, this ride does not disappoint. Except in one situation. If you are not sitting in the top row, other feet might obstruct your view and ruin the authenticity of the ride experience. This ride will also play with your senses, making you smell dust and other materials from around the world, make you feel colder or warmer, and instantly transforms you from EPCOT to China or Egypt or The Arctic.
Pros:
Realistic Experience Sensory DetailsCons:
Other Feet Can Obstruct Your View Long LinesReviewed by DisneyNewbie41 Review Date: 02/22/2022

Just a couple issues. The seat belt has a piece to make it smaller for kids. My glasses were fogging over from the mask and I panicked a little, fortunately the person next to me fixed it. I think if I had taken a Dramamine I wouldn’t have had any motion sickness. Otherwise I enjoyed it!
Pros:
Great conceptCons:

This is a classic ride that everyone needs to experience. While some pictures get distorted, the smells and overall experience are unique and fun.
Pros:
Sense of flying, Smells, No 3D Glasses, Interactive game in the queueCons:
Screen needs updating, Outdated flying experience compared to Flight of Passage.Reviewed by Braden Review Date: 07/28/2020

I highly recommend this ride. It feels like you are flying. One of the best experiences ever.
Pros:
Feels like your flying.Cons:
It has a long line a lot.Reviewed by MetallicSplinter Review Date: 07/28/2020

The more relaxing, terrestrial version of Flight of Passage. This ride doesn't offer a lot of thrill but the stunning visuals, gentle smells, and gentle motion of the ride makes for some amazing moments. The presence of feet dangling and some curvature of the video if you're not dead center can be a little distracting but doesn't diminish the experience very much. A must-do and a great way to kick-off or recap your adventure in the World Showcase.
Pros:
Beautiful visuals. Mildly thrilling without being scary.Cons:
Visuals can get distorted if viewing from an edge seat. Feet dangling above you can get distracting.Reviewed by NatalieWay Review Date: 07/14/2020

It's a really cool and relaxing ride. Honestly since Flight of Passage opened, this one is not as impressive. If you aren't sitting right in the middle, some things look wonky. It is fun though.
