Sep. 11 - Sep. 12Magic KingdomNight of Joy an after-hours event in the Magic Kingdom that features contemporary Christian music. It requires a special ticket. Event hours are 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. each evening. While artists are performing at several stages, many popular Magic Kingdom attractions also are available for Night of Joy guests.
Sep. 15 - Nov. 01Magic KingdomMickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party allows guests to trick-or-treat on select nights while immersed in the fantasy of the Magic Kingdom. The evening includes Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade; trick-or-treating throughout the Magic Kingdom at numerous locations; and the special Happy HalloWishes fireworks. Lots of characters are out in the park, wearing their favorite costumes. The party runs from 7 p.m. to midnight.

Aug. 04 - Sep. 05Disney Springs : Walt Disney WorldArt in August Every weekend (Thursday through Sunday), tents will be set up throughout the promenade, with Disney artists and handmade treasures, including jewelry from Jortra and stationary from Boiled Books, and unique keepsakes such as the latest Precious Moments Dolls from doll designer Linda Rick. Painters like Greg McCullough and Darren Wilson will sit alongside niche craftsman selling items that include giftable plants (Petal Pushers), handmade soaps and beauty products (Rinse) and decorative house and garden flags (Swaying in the Breeze). The eclectic Pop Gallery on the West Side will have a booth featuring unique pieces, as will Name Works. On select dates, these artists will be joined by photographer Carlos Cuba, Precious Moments figurine sculptor Hiko Maeda, and game designer Quynh Kimball. Here's a partial list of artists/artisans who will be at Disney Springs this month (subject to change).

New live music and dance entertainment, fresh menu creations and plenty of craft beer and cocktail options are on tap to celebrate the Hooley's fifth year. Nov. 19 - Nov. 20Contemporary : Disney ResortsD23 Destination D: Amazing Adventures This event, exclusively for members of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, celebrates landmarks of the past, present, and future, from the Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean to the planet of Pandora. AVATAR creators James Cameron (writer, director, producer) and Jon Landau (producer) will join Imagineer Joe Rohde for Pandora - The World of AVATAR, a presentation where they will unveil new details about the immersive, 12-acre land coming soon to Disney's Animal Kingdom. In addition, the event will include a conversation with Bob Chapek, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Plus, Moana screenwriter Jared Bush (co-writer/co-director Zootopia) will be on hand to provide guests an exclusive advance look at the making of Walt Disney Animation Studios' newest animated feature.
