It was recently announced that construction would also begin soon on new waterfront cabins and deluxe DVC accommodations. In addition to the Disney Vacation Club project, other guest areas within Disney's Wilderness Lodge are scheduled to undergo substantial enhancements and refurbishment, including new recreation and food and beverage options. More information and project details will be shared at a later date. |

| May. 02 | Discovery Island : Disney's Animal Kingdom | Tiffins Talk At Tiffins restaurant, Dr. Anne Savage, Conservation Director for Disney's Animals, Science and Environment, will speak about the cotton-top tamarin conservation project Disney supports in Colombia. The menu will feature South American cuisine. |
| May. 04 | Discovery Island : Disney's Animal Kingdom | Tiffins Talk At Tiffins restaurant, Dr. Scott Terrell, Director of Animal and Science Operations for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, will chat about caring for the Sumatran tigers that call Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park home, as well as the conservation work Disney is doing to protect tigers in Asia. The menu will feature Asian cuisine. |

| June 18 - Late August 2018 | Pandora - The World of Avatar : Disney's Animal Kingdom | Lake Buena Vista Golf Course The course will operate as a 9-hole course during its refurbishment, which will include the addition of a Mickey-shaped bunker. Also, all of the bunkers will be enhanced, adding new powdery white sand. |
