Nov. 19 - Nov. 20Contemporary : Disney ResortsD23 Destination D: Amazing Adventures This event, exclusively for members of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, celebrates landmarks of the past, present, and future, from the Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean to the planet of Pandora. AVATAR creators James Cameron (writer, director, producer) and Jon Landau (producer) will join Imagineer Joe Rohde for Pandora - The World of AVATAR, a presentation where they will unveil new details about the immersive, 12-acre land coming soon to Disney's Animal Kingdom. In addition, the event will include a conversation with Bob Chapek, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Plus, Moana screenwriter Jared Bush (co-writer/co-director Zootopia) will be on hand to provide guests an exclusive advance look at the making of Walt Disney Animation Studios' newest animated feature. Cameron, Landau, and Chapek join previously announced Disney Legends Marty Sklar and Tony Baxter; Walt Disney Imagineers Rohde, Chris Merritt, Jason Grandt, and Wyatt Winter; producer Don Hahn (The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast); and Walt Disney Archives Director Becky Cline.

Admission to the event is $15 per person and includes: Pin Trading Area; One edible treat; preview of upcoming pin releases; first opportunity to pre-purchase select themed pins from the Aladdin 25th Anniversary Collection via the Random Selection Process. Space is limited.

Apr. 22 - May 5Disney's Animal KingdomParty for the Planet/20th Anniversary Celebration As part of this celebration, the new attraction UP! A Great Bird Adventure will debut, and the park will offer animal encounters, family-friendly activities, specialty desserts and more.
May. 02Discovery Island : Disney's Animal KingdomTiffins Talk At Tiffins restaurant, Dr. Anne Savage, Conservation Director for Disney's Animals, Science and Environment, will speak about the cotton-top tamarin conservation project Disney supports in Colombia. The menu will feature South American cuisine.
May. 04Discovery Island : Disney's Animal KingdomTiffins Talk At Tiffins restaurant, Dr. Scott Terrell, Director of Animal and Science Operations for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, will chat about caring for the Sumatran tigers that call Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park home, as well as the conservation work Disney is doing to protect tigers in Asia. The menu will feature Asian cuisine.

Nov. 16 - Nov. 18Contemporary : Disney ResortsD23 Destination D: Happy Birthday Mickey November 18, 2018, will mark 90 years since Mickey Mouse made his debut in Steamboat Willie at the Colony Theatre in New York City, and D23 is throwing a party at Disney's Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate. The event will include panels, presentations, an all-new exhibit from the Walt Disney Archives, a pop-up store from Walt Disney Imagineering's Mickey's of Glendale, and more. Additional details, including special hotel rates and ticketing information, will be announced in the coming months.
