January 4 - 8, 2017ESPN Wide World of SportsWalt Disney World Marathon Weekend presented by Cigna a range of events and races, each pacing through an assortment of exciting locations -- including all four theme parks. There's a Family Fun Run 5K, followed by a 10K, a Half Marathon and the full marathon.

Jan. 25 - Jan. 28ESPN Wide World of SportsPro Bowl Week Many NFL superstars will be coming to Orlando for Pro Bowl Week starting January 25. Among the Pro Bowl players recently announced are New England quarterback Tom Brady, Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers, New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and Dallas rookie sensations Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex will host most of the Pro Bowl Week activities, including the team practices, youth football events, a Pro Bowl Skills Showdown and a dodgeball game pitting the AFC stars against the NFC's best players. There are also activities planned for Disney Springs as well as Epcot, which will be the site of the Pro Bowl 5K run. On January 27, Pro Bowl players, NFL cheerleaders and various community groups will take part in a celebratory parade down Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom. Sept. 1 - 4The Landing : Disney Springs6th Annual Great Irish Hooley Celebrating Irish song, dance, food and drink, the Great Irish Hooley kicks off performances beginning at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, and continues each day and night through late Monday and into the wee hours. This year's Hooley entertainment headliners include: Elevation, a U2 tribute act; Lisa Canny Band; and Gary O'Meara Band, with a traditional Irish banjo player. In addition, the Raglan Road Irish Dancers and champion Irish dancer Ciaran Keating, Raglan Road's show choreographer, will host an entertaining event that traces the origins of Irish dance from earliest jigs and reels through contemporary times.
