Aug. 15 - Aug. 29	Disney's Hollywood Studios	Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Work is under way on the 14-acre Star Wars-themed land at Disney's Hollywood Studios that was announced during the 2015 D23 EXPO.
Early 2016 - Sep. 30	Dolphin : Disney Resorts	WDW Dolphin Hotel The first phase of the Dolphin Hotel room renovations will begin in 2016, with the entire room project currently scheduled to be completed by the end of 2017.

2/16 - TBA	ESPN Wide World of Sports	Multi-Use Sports and Entertainment Venue ESPN Wide World of Sports has teamed up with the nation's top cheerleading organization, Varsity Spirit, to create a new state-of-the-art cheerleading and dance team competition venue, which will include a flexible design for one large competition space that can be set up for as many as four competition areas. Additional areas are being tailored for warm up and practice, along with areas for judges and officials. With the capacity to seat more than 8,000 guests, plus performance and warm-up space, the new multi-use sports and entertainment venue will also be able to host six regulation basketball courts, six regulation volleyball courts or concert configurations. There will be concessions throughout the building, and an additional box office and entry to the complex. Construction is ongoing until further notice, with intermittent overnight lane closures, lane shifts, traffic congestion and noise along Osceola Parkway/Victory Way.

Oct. 02 - Jul. 17	Wilderness Lodge : Disney Resorts	Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Villas General resort refurbishments, construction work in multiple areas. Certain pathways and the nature trail will be unavailable. It was recently announced that construction would also begin soon on new waterfront cabins and deluxe DVC accommodations. In addition to the Disney Vacation Club project, other guest areas within Disney's Wilderness Lodge are scheduled to undergo substantial enhancements and refurbishment, including new recreation and food and beverage options. More information and project details will be shared at a later date.

1/17 - 12/19/17	Liberty Square : Magic Kingdom	Hall of Presidents REOPENING DEC. 19! Along with the addition of the new president audio-animatronic, the attraction is getting a new show, and a complete theater upgrade including a new sound system, lighting and high-definition projection system.
February 2017 - Jul. 01	Wilderness Lodge : Disney Resorts	Roaring Fork During the time these areas will be closed the new Geyser Point Pool Bar and Grill will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Territory Lounge will also offer continental breakfast.
Feb. 1, 2017 - 2019	Caribbean Beach : Disney Resorts	Barbados and Martinique These sections of the resort have been demolished to make way for construction of the new Disney Riviera Resort.

Work most likely to cause a noise impact will be limited to the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This refurbishment is expected to be completed in 2019.
April 2	BoardWalk : Disney Resorts	Bon Voyage Breakfast Debuts The new Bon Voyage Breakfast will begin on April 2, and will give guests the opportunity to meet a variety of characters, including Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Ariel and Prince Eric. Reservations are now open.

Apr. 15 - Until Further Notice	Art of Animation : Disney Resorts	Art of Animation General Refurbishment In an effort to make future visits more magical, Disney's Art of Animation Resort is currently undergoing some refurbishment projects across the Resort. During this time, the Resort will be in full operation with all amenities available, including dining, merchandise and recreation locations. It is possible that construction may be seen or heard, but noise should not be heard from Guest rooms between dusk and 9:00am.
Apr. 20 - Apr. 23	ESPN Wide World of Sports	Star Wars Half Marathon - The Dark Side Weekend Races include the 5K, Kids' Races, 10K, and half marathon, with the Dark Side Challenge for those completing the 10K and half marathon distances. New for 2017: the 10K and half marathon will start on Floridian Way and finish at Epcot. In the Inaugural event those races started at Epcot and finished at ESPN Wide World of Sports. The Kessel Run Challenge medal will be awarded to those who complete both the Star Wars Half Marathon - The Light Side in California and the Star Wars Half Marathon - The Dark Side in Florida.

Centertown will serve breakfast and dinner. Grab 'n' Go options will be available in three island markets: Aruba, Jamaica, and Martinique.
5/15/17 - Nov. 23	Yacht Club : Disney Resorts	Captain's Grille The reopening of the Captain's Grille has been delayed until mid- to late November. For now, the Captain's Grille breakfast and lunch menus are being served in the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club. There will be no Captain's Grille dinner service. When Captain's Grille reopens, it will be known as the Ale and Compass Restaurant.

Summer - Fall 2017	Muppets Courtyard : Disney's Hollywood Studios	Grand Avenue Muppets Courtyard and parts of the former Streets of America section of Disney's Hollywood Studios are being reimagined and transformed into Grand Avenue. Grand Avenue will be a streetscape evocative of downtown Los Angeles. The current Muppets Courtyard will become Grand Park, an urban square off Grand Avenue surrounded by shops and restaurants like PizzeRizzo and Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano. There are already changes in the area, with the Muppets theater being renamed "Grand Arts Theatre" and boasting a brand-new marquee. The Muppet*Vision 3D show will continue.
July 2017 - September 30, 2021	France Pavilion : EPCOT	Remy's Ratatouille Adventure Similar to the 4-D attraction Ratatouille: The Adventure that opened at the Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris in 2014, guests will be able to shrink to Remy’s size and scurry to safety in a dazzling chase across a kitchen with the sights, sounds and smells of Gusteau’s legendary Parisian restaurant. The attraction will open on October 1st, 2021 just in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort.
Jul. 15 - Dec. 16	Riviera Resort : Disney Resorts	Disney's Riviera Resort The Riviera Resort is “inspired by the grandeur of Europe, but reimagined à la Disney magic.” It will be conveniently located near Caribbean Beach Resort, and will feature Disney Skyliner transportation to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot when it opens December 16, 2019.
Jul. 15 - Winter 2019-2020	Mission: Space : EPCOT	Space 220 A new International Space Station-themed restaurant will open its doors this winter and be called Space 220. The restaurant will offer an out-of-this-world culinary experience with the celestial panorama of a space station, including daytime and nighttime views of Earth from 220 miles up.

Under Construction - May 27th	Future World East : EPCOT	Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind The Guardians of Galaxy themed coaster will be one of the longest enclosed roller coasters in the world and feature a brand-new ride system. Disney has shared that the ride will open in Summer 2022.
Under Construction - TBD	Tomorrowland : Magic Kingdom	TRON: Lightcycle Run TRON Lightcycle Run is coaster-style attraction, in which riders board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles. It offers access into the energy, lights and excitement of TRON's high-tech universe and is one of the most thrilling adventures.

May 2019 - Mar 2021	EPCOT : Walt Disney World	Epcot Main Entrance Transformation Epcot‘s main entrance plaza will see changes that include new pathways, sweeping green spaces, and a newly re-imagined fountain. The new design will pay homage to the original park entrance with fresh takes on classic elements. The Leave A Legacy photos, currently in the entrance plaza, will move into a setting just outside the park’s gateway.
2020	China Pavilion : EPCOT	Wondrous China Debuts The China pavilion will debut a new, completely seamless 360-degree digital format film in 2020 — a month or season for the debut has not been announced.
2020	Toy Story Land : Disney's Hollywood Studios	Roundup Rodeo BBQ Opens Toy Story Land will be getting a table service restaurant opening in 2020. The new location promises to be immersive, and something you can only experience through Toy Story.
January 2020 - late-2020	All Star Music Resort : Disney Resorts	All-Star Music All-Star Music rooms are being refurbished by building. In 10/2019, Building 10 was under refurbishment. In 1/2020, Buildings 7 and 9 are fully closed for the refurbishment.
Mar 2020 - Jun. 13	Disney's Animal Kingdom : Walt Disney World	Finding Nemo: The Musical Disney has announced that Finding Nemo: The Musical has permanently closed as we know it to be reimagined with a new storyline based on the same classic characters. The new show will be named Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond! and is set to open sometime in summer 2022.
March 2020 - Nov. 3rd	Disney's Hollywood Studios : Walt Disney World	Fantasmic! After a long closure, Fantasmic will reopen in Disney's Hollywood Studios on November 3rd.
2020 - CLOSED	Polynesian : Disney Resorts	Spirit Of Aloha Disney has confirmed that Spirit of Aloha will not be returning after its closure at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mar 2020 - Mar. 31, 2022	All Star Sports : Disney Resorts	Disney's All-Star Sports Resort Reopening All-Star Sports Resort will reopen on March 31st, 2022. Guests can begin booking their stays at the hotel on December 22nd, 2021.

Sep. 01 - Summer 2021	Art of Animation : Disney Resorts	Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is receiving a big overhaul to the entryway with updates on the lobby and monorail station. The guest rooms will also receive a Moana-inspired room update. The project is currently underway and will continue to this summer.
