Additional areas are being tailored for warm up and practice, along with areas for judges and officials. With the capacity to seat more than 8,000 guests, plus performance and warm-up space, the new multi-use sports and entertainment venue will also be able to host six regulation basketball courts, six regulation volleyball courts or concert configurations. There will be concessions throughout the building, and an additional box office and entry to the complex. Construction is ongoing until further notice, with intermittent overnight lane closures, lane shifts, traffic congestion and noise along Osceola Parkway/Victory Way.

Guests will have the chance to enjoy most of the park's popular attractions and character greetings, such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, and Princess Fairytale Hall. In addition, the cost of admission includes ice cream novelties and select beverages. Grand Avenue will be a streetscape evocative of downtown Los Angeles. The current Muppets Courtyard will become Grand Park, an urban square off Grand Avenue surrounded by shops and restaurants like PizzeRizzo and Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano. There are already changes in the area, with the Muppets theater being renamed "Grand Arts Theatre" and boasting a brand-new marquee. The Muppet*Vision 3D show will continue.

Jan. 10 - Feb. 10	Magic Kingdom : Walt Disney World	Splash Mountain Splash Mountain will close for routine maintenance in Magic Kingdom from January 10th through February 10th, 2022.
Feb. 7 - Mid-March	Art of Animation : Disney Resorts	Schoolyard Splashground From February 7 through mid-March, the Schoolyard Splashground near the Big Blue pool will be unavailable at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.
Feb. 11	Magic Kingdom : Walt Disney World	Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade Debut Starting February 11th, you can see nearly 30 characters from Disney and Pixar in Magic Kingdom, including Nick and Judy from “Zootopia,” Baloo and King Louie from “The Jungle Book,” Merida, Moana, The Incredibles, and more.
Feb. 14 - Mid-March	Saratoga Springs : Disney Resorts	Grandstand Leisure Pool The Grandstand Leisure Pool at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will close from February 14th through mid-March 2022. During this time the High Rock Spring Pool and the Paddock Pool will remain open for guests.
Feb. 14 - Feb. 18	Magic Kingdom : Walt Disney World	Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will close for “routine maintenance” in Magic Kingdom from February 14th-18th, 2022.

Late Feb. - Mid-April	Art of Animation : Disney Resorts	Cozy Cone Pool The Cozy Cone Pool will close at Disney's Art of Animation Resort for refurbishment in Late February 2022 through mid-April 2022. At that time, The Big Blue Pool and Flippin’ Fins Pool will remain open.

Jan. 01 - Sept 30th 2023	Disney Resorts : Walt Disney World	Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Disney announced that the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will be closing permanently. The final voyage for the Star Wars Hotel will be September 28th-30th, 2023.
Under Construction - May 27th	Future World East : EPCOT	Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind The Guardians of Galaxy themed coaster will be one of the longest enclosed roller coasters in the world and feature a brand-new ride system. Disney has shared that the ride will open in Summer 2022.
Under Construction - TBD	Tomorrowland : Magic Kingdom	TRON: Lightcycle Run TRON Lightcycle Run is coaster-style attraction, in which riders board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles. It offers access into the energy, lights and excitement of TRON's high-tech universe and is one of the most thrilling adventures.
Dec 2018 - December 23, 2022	Main Street USA : Magic Kingdom	Walt Disney World Railroad The Walt Disney World Railroad will cease running and will sit "in residence" at its Main Street Station while work progresses on the new Tron coaster coming to Tomorrowland. This will give guests the chance to have an up-close look at the railroad and take advantage of some unique photo opportunities.
