Sep. 11 - Sep. 12Magic KingdomNight of Joy an after-hours event in the Magic Kingdom that features contemporary Christian music. It requires a special ticket. Event hours are 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. each evening. While artists are performing at several stages, many popular Magic Kingdom attractions also are available for Night of Joy guests.

The evening includes Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade; trick-or-treating throughout the Magic Kingdom at numerous locations; and the special Happy HalloWishes fireworks. Lots of characters are out in the park, wearing their favorite costumes. The party runs from 7 p.m. to midnight.

January 6 - 10Resort Wide : Walt Disney WorldWalt Disney World Marathon Weekend presented by Cigna a range of events and races, each pacing through an assortment of exciting locations-including all four theme parks. There's a Family Fun Run 5K on Thursday, January 7, followed by a 10K on January 8, a Half Marathon on January 9 and the full marathon on January 10. March 2 - May 30EPCOTEpcot Flower and Garden Festival To celebrate its 23rd year, the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will expand to 90 days and run from March 2-May 30, 2016, at Walt Disney World Resort. The popular spring festival previously ran for 75 days. Fresh farm market flavors at the festival's Outdoor Kitchens, new Disney character topiaries, interactive play gardens and live rockin' music will shower spring surprises on park guests.
March 2 - May 30American Adventure Pavilion : EPCOTGarden Rocks Concert Series runs every weekend throughout the Flower and Garden Festival at America Gardens Theatre at 5:30, 6:45 and 8 p.m.
March 2 - 27EPCOTEggstravaganza 2016 Eggstravaganza is back at Epcot March 2-27, so hop on over and take part in this Disney themed egg hunt. Please Note: Maps will be available for purchase while supplies last at Epcot. One redemption egg per map.
March 11 - 17Town Center : Disney SpringsMighty St. Patrick's Festival at Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant. Award-winning Irish bands and quick-stepping Irish dancers will showcase their roots during a celebration that also will feature cuisine by Irish celebrity chef Kevin Dundon. St. Patrick's festivities will include complimentary face-painting and giveaways. Mighty Festival hours are 4 p.m.-1:30 a.m. March 11, 14, 15 and 16; noon until 1:30 a.m. March 12 and 13; and 11 a.m. until 1:30 a.m. March 17. The pub opens weekdays at 11 a.m. for lunch and weekends at 10 a.m. for brunch. The entertainment schedule will be posted at raglanroad.com.
Mar. 25The Marketplace : Disney SpringsRidley Pearson Book Signing Ridley Pearson will be at the Art of Disney from 4 to 6 p.m., to celebrate the release of his newest book, Kingdom Keepers: The Return, Book 2: Legacy of Secrets. Wristbands will be distributed to guests at store opening on the day of the signing, with each purchase of a book by Ridley Pearson. A wristband from the appearance location is required to meet Ridley Pearson and allows the guest to get two books signed. A limited number of wristbands will be available the day of the signing. Once the wristbands have been distributed, the line will close.
Mar. 25 - 28The Landing : Disney SpringsThe Young Irelanders Irish music sensation will bring their multi-award-winning brand of traditional Irish music, song and dance to Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant. Guests can enjoy performances on the patio stage from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. March 25 and 26, and on the Grand Room stage March 27 and 28 from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. There is no cover charge to see the performers who are on tour in the United States before taking their show to Ireland and China.

Aug. 04 - Sep. 05Disney Springs : Walt Disney WorldArt in August Every weekend (Thursday through Sunday), tents will be set up throughout the promenade, with Disney artists and handmade treasures, including jewelry from Jortra and stationary from Boiled Books, and unique keepsakes such as the latest Precious Moments Dolls from doll designer Linda Rick. Painters like Greg McCullough and Darren Wilson will sit alongside niche craftsman selling items that include giftable plants (Petal Pushers), handmade soaps and beauty products (Rinse) and decorative house and garden flags (Swaying in the Breeze). The eclectic Pop Gallery on the West Side will have a booth featuring unique pieces, as will Name Works. On select dates, these artists will be joined by photographer Carlos Cuba, Precious Moments figurine sculptor Hiko Maeda, and game designer Quynh Kimball. Here's a partial list of artists/artisans who will be at Disney Springs this month (subject to change).

AVATAR creators James Cameron (writer, director, producer) and Jon Landau (producer) will join Imagineer Joe Rohde for Pandora - The World of AVATAR, a presentation where they will unveil new details about the immersive, 12-acre land coming soon to Disney's Animal Kingdom. In addition, the event will include a conversation with Bob Chapek, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Plus, Moana screenwriter Jared Bush (co-writer/co-director Zootopia) will be on hand to provide guests an exclusive advance look at the making of Walt Disney Animation Studios' newest animated feature.
