It had been many years since we dined here. We were a party of 7 and it felt as if we were squeezed in to a table for 4. We felt rushed from the moment we were seated. We hadn't even had time to look at the menus and our server wanted our entire order. He was pleasant but not very attentive. Food was average but overpriced.

Pros:

Atmosphere

Cons:

Service

We gave this another try. Won't do it again. Food was just okay. Nothing great. Our server was excellent. Dessert that we ordered last year was plated beautifully. This year it was in a coffee cup. It was Tiramisu.

Pros:

seated quickly, server

Cons:

food not that good

I had to give this spot a try for my solo birthday trip last week (November 2022) even after reading the reviews about the subpar food. I have simple tastes and prefer what others would consider bland entrees, so I figured I might actually like the food. Boy was I wrong. I ordered fried cheese and chicken parm, hard to mess up. The fried cheese came out faster than my drink and was cold and hard. It was obvious it had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. The pasta on my main dish was not cooked completely and the sauce was so salty I couldn’t hardly stomach it. The chicken itself was good once I scraped the sauce off. My server was terrific, I was seated very quickly and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A cavalcade came by as I was eating and I got to enjoy the Dapper Dans performing from my patio table, which I loved. But that food, yuck. A one and done for me.

Pros:

Great location. Immaculate service.

Cons:

The food.

The mom and pop Italian place in your neighborhood is better. I had a horrible meal here. The cast members were fantastic. The food was the worst quality of bottled off the grocery shelf possible and served at a pace found at most quick serve spots. I ordered the soup as an appetizer and spaghetti with meatballs for an entree. I was just about to take my second bite of soup when the spaghetti arrived. The soup was quite hot so by the time I finished it my spaghetti was not. My server was busy though and I picked at some of the warmer bits of the entree. She swung by quickly and left my check but then went to take the drink order of the large group at a nearby table. I watched her get a long complicated order and then go collect it. She returned with children's drinks, wine, champagne, glasses, a bucket, and proceeded to distribute and pour. A hostess (shout out to the friendly Mimi, who tried to help) saw my dilemma and stepped in to chat and distract. Eventually that table was served and placed their dinner orders and my bill was paid. Not a satisfactory dinner. The spaghetti was generic brand store quality, not worth the price at all. I ate very little. There was a small bird loose in the restaurant and several staff members spend the evening trying to catch it. That was entertaining.

Pros:

Watching staff try to catch the bird was amusing. Cast members were great as usual. There are working hard until tough circumstances and I never let my opinion of the food affect the size of the tip.

Cons:

Food quality.

October reviews still valid, not sure if management wants to Improve? Need overhaul of kitchen staff.

Pros:

Food tasted ok, it was never fine dining but was good meal

Cons:

Pasta definitely either over cooked or sits too long, meal was ok at best. Server was nice but not engaging at all. Wanted some sauce to take home with leftovers got dear in headlights look. Gave feedback nicely to manager. We didn’t want anything back but 4 out of 10 is best I can give. Disappointing since it’s not expected to be fine dining so expectations are lower anyway.

My daughter made arrangements for our party of 9. She checked in and reminded the staff of number in party and wanting tables close to each other. We were called and for one table and the next table wouldn't be ready for 10 minutes. Waited another 30 minutes for table to sit togather

Pros:

None

Cons:

Slow service

My girlfriend and I ate here for dinner on 1/20/18 and I've eaten here by myself on past occasions. Over all, this is a so-so restaurant for being table service. If you like Lady and the Tramp, you'll probably like this place though the only giveaway that it's even related besides the name are the many framed scenes from the film. Otherwise you may want to rethink eating here. Here's the details:

- It can be loud. One of the large dinning areas has tile floor so you can imagine how much sound reverberates when it's packed with families and kids.

- Service was good when we went. Our waiter was attentive and came by our table several times, so no complaints there.

- Food. Here's where it gets interesting and is why I didn't list it as a pro or a con. It's hit or miss. Mostly miss. For starters, the menu isn't exactly diverse. It's your basic American Italian offerings and they are mostly on par with Olive Garden or a bit lower. I had the ravioli which was surprisingly good and I would recommend it though it's a small portion of 6 pieces. My girlfriend got the chicken parm and while not bad, it wasn't anything to write home about either. The tomato sauce was pretty average and I would bet it comes from a can. The complimentary bread and olive oil are OK but the oil to seasoning ratio is way off so you end up with an oil soaked loaf if you try to scoop up any herbs. I've had the caprese in the past which is also surprisingly good.

- Wait times. This place gets crowded early and I've witnessed families leaving who had reservations because they had to wait so long. On the other hand, I've always been seated within 10 minutes of checking in, so this seems to vary according to party size.

Pros:

Themeing

Cons:

Can be noisy

I know this is a park location but we were very unhappy with this choice. The food was barely edible. The servers never even cracked a smile ....we felt like we were intruding on there time just being there. Will not pick this location for a meal again.

Pros:

location

Cons:

nothing to get excited about

I booked this restaurant because we were on the deluxe plan and there are so few table service restaurants in Magic Kingdom. We were able to watch the entire electrical parade while waiting for our table with 7:15 reservations. The table was cramped with 9 of us at an 8 top. The server rushed us through the courses (more so than any other place all week.) The Calamari appetizer was good, but the sauce was terrible. My DS had the melon which was drenched in balsamic vinegar. When it was mentioned to the server she very rudely pointed out that it gave more flavor. Family members who have eaten in Italy said they have never seen melon and ham with vinegar like that. The entrees were universally bad. We had the steak, short ribs, cioppino, and kids pizza. One of my dd couldn't even eat the pizza. The cioppino is supposed to be in a broth and it was in the same marinara as the dipping sauce for the calimari. The steaks were ok, not great and the short ribs were awful. The only person who said his food was ok was my brother who had the chicken parm. We have decided that we would have been better off with the quick service at Cosmic Ray's even using a deluxe dining credit than eating at Tony's. I am not sure what I would do in future, but Tony's will not be on my list of ADR's on our next visit. I suggest you do yourself a favor and skip it as well.

Pros:

TS in Magic Kingdom

Cons:

Price, food, service

I'll start by saying this is a family favorite. This time, the food was atrocious and the service was terrible. Party of 9 with a reservation made 6 months ago. We sat and watched more than 10 tables come in without a reservation and be sat in less than 5 minutes. After 30 minutes I complained. I was told we were too large to seat easily. I would have thought that with a reservation, they would have either planned for us or told us they couldn't accommodate us. They finally said they'd seat us if we agreed to be split into two tables (not near each other but at least in the same dining room). Fine, so we did that. But why did no one ever say it was a problem until we waited for half an hour? My table ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Our other table ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Our food came out at least 20 minutes before the other table. We had drinks and appetizers and our other table was still waiting for drinks. Spaghetti comes to our table and right away, we realize its not right. Gummy, sticky and weirdly chewy at the same time. We pick at it and decide not to say anything (given we'd already battled enough). Other table gets theirs and sends it back to the kitchen because they got the same weird gummy bowls of pasta we got. We should have sent ours back because the replacement bowls were 100% better. We're not sure but we think they served us gluten free pasta that had been sitting for at least 2 hours. At least, that is what it tasted like. There was more issue than just pasta cooked incorrectly and it sat in our stomachs like a ball of bubble gum for hours. I am very sad to say this...but I am not sure we'll go back. I have always defended Tony's when it gets typically very bad reviews but maybe everyone else is right and we've been getting lucky. Not this time.

Pros:

meatballs were ok

Cons:

terrible pasta, unorganized service and long wait to be sat
