We had an advanced dining reservation for dinner at the wave. Service and food were excellent. The filet was cooked to perfection, and everyone was happy with their order. A stand out for us was the service and consideration offered by our server Ron from Utah. When one of our party had an allergy concern, she was not simply guided away from options containing that item. They changed a dish that she had wanted to suit her needs, and did so happily. We have always been offered an allergy friendly menu at Disney Resorts, but never been able to order anything and have it tailor made. This went above and beyond any restaurant accommodations at Disney including any from a signature resort. The wine list was extensive, food was beautifully prepared and dessert was excellent.

Pros:

Service oriented restaurant, excellent quality food, easy to get to, great location

Cons:

None, but be advised of low lighting in the waiting area. Just something we need to work with due to a visual impairment in our party.

My husband and I went for our 5th Anniversary and the food was some of the best I have had at Disney including Victoria & Alberts! Plus our waiter went above and beyond for us! He gave us complimentary champagne and even had the chef make us a beautiful desert complete with handmade chocolate roses!

Pros:

Among the best food at Disney. Comparable to California Grill but less expensive and better chance of getting reservations!

Cons:

Pricey if not on dining plan.

Been to this restaurant 3 times and will be back again next summer. Always a delicious dinner with great service. Beautiful interior-Very modern decor. The food is always fantastic. Fresh organic ingredients make it more special. It was our 30th anniversary but we didnt tell anyone except when we made our disney reservations months prior, but somehow, word got out to our server and what a surprise-he brought us a beautiful dessert plate and 2 glasses of champagne! So special and such a great ending to our dinner!

Great food, Great Staff, Chefs are the best on Disney property. Chefs Kimi Holt and Michael Baker showcase their talents in every dish served here at The Wave.

As a Chef myself and a Critic I am always looking to see who has the talent to bring out the best dishes in Disney.

I had the Grilled Beef Tenderloin with a blue moon beer followed by desert Chocolate Flight.

The Grilled Beef Tenderloin was cooked to perfection and great presentation.

The Chocolate Flight was incredible, a bourbon cherry glazed chocolate cake, a peanut better bar with a light mouse for presentation and a light chocolate tart.

Always impressive every time I come here. So far my favorite restaurant on Disney property. Defiantly looking forward to coming here again.

Great Food, friendly staff

Our first experience at The Wave was dinner on Jan 17, 2017. I can’t say enough about the food and the service. The crab and shrimp cake appetizer was delicious. Our fillets were done perfectly and the roasted veggies were wonderful. They staff were so friendly and surprised us with a plate of a chocolate Minnie and chocolate covered strawberries, truffle hearts, balloons and wine glasses with champagne for our 50th anniversary. We will make this a must do each time we visit Disney World.

Food and service

The only thing that I regret about our meal is that we did not go here sooner. Everything we ordered was outstanding. Our server was awesome. They served my younger son some gluten free bread that he loved. I asked what it was and our server went back to check and wrote down exactly what it was. May sound like something simple, but I thought it was really nice of him. We will definitely return!

I would go over 10 here if I could. In a week where we ate at a lot of high end places, this was the best we had hands down. The service was top notch and the food was great. Steaks were cooked perfect, sides were very good, just blown away. I even made a comment to my wife that I felt this blew California Grill out of the water. The Wave is now on a regular rotation for restaurants for our visits.

In our 10 days of dining, this was our favorite meal. Everything was done to perfection. The waiter was excellent from explaining all aspects of the menu, specials, dining plan questions, etc...The food was delightful and flavorful. Everything was cooked perfectly. This is one hidden gem that will be on our must do list for next trip.

As a professional Chef there are tree thing I look for in a restaurant.

A good clean environment
knowledgeable staff
and professional Chefs

So far every restaurant on the Disney property follows a quote from the film "ratatouille."
"Anyone can cook" and after many disappoints from countless restaurants, The Wave will surprise you in countless ways.

One person in my party has a severe food allergy (celiac disease) and the Sous Chef Kimi Holt came out and talked with us.

To see a level of professionalism from her and finding out everything is made from scratch made this Chef tst her skills.

I had a grilled Beef tenderloin cooked medium rare with ductchess potatoes topped with sour cream and chives, sautéed green beans.

I have dined in some of the best restaurants in the world, worked with world class chefs and spend 17 years of my life as a Professional Chef.

After some careful thought and consideration I can say The wave is one of my top 5 favorite restaurants in the world. I shall be returning as a regular customer.

Kimi Holt is one of the best Chefs employed by Disney.

Pros:

Porofessional Chefs that will impress you

Cons:

No sweet tea in stock
