Great opportunity to learn how to draw animated characters. Instructors make it seem so easy - anyone can do this. Been doing this since my kids were ~5 years old and even they were able to draw the character with the instruction.

Pros:

Ability to learn from and interact with a Disney animator. Learn how to draw a character. Leave with "free" souvenir - your drawing. When there, also opp to visit the petting zoo.

Cons:

Train ride to conservation station takes time.

This is a hidden Gem of the Animal Kingdom. You take a nice little train ride, and who doesn't like train rides, to RPW and in the back of the conversation stations is the extremely cool Animation Experience. here you get a step by step instruction of how draw a Disney animal. (we did Crush) it's very fun and you get to take home you picture and you and you family can all remember who is the best at drawling.

Pros:

something different for the whole family

Cons:

as far away from a main entrance and anything in any Disney park

Generally fun to get to be guided with drawing a character. The characters vary so you can do it over and over. Little kids may be challenged with doing it, but if they’re school-age (6 and up I’d think) they should manage. It’s a nice little getaway and frequently less busy than the rest of animal kingdom (we generally go in the afternoon)

Pros:

Guided drawing of characters is fun.

Cons:

Have to take the train ride over and back and it takes a bit of time, not a lot to do at the conservation station in general
