My family loved floating quickly around this river. My kids would have stayed in here all day if we had let them. It was so fun and enjoyable.

Pros:

Goes fast and is thrilling.

Cons:

Goes so fast that you run into other people in the water.

So much fun! I could stay in here all day. It is the perfect balance of fun and relaxing; you really don't have to do much of anything, the current takes you quite easily. Everyone is required to wear a life vest, and the water level is relatively low, so if you aren't a super strong swimmer, don't be too worried about this attraction. You get a great view of inside the volcano and there are fun water features throughout the loop.

Pros:

Easy, relaxing ride with a the perfect amount of thrill. Good balance of shade and sun as well.

Cons:

It can be difficult to exit the river because of the current. If you aren't big on getting knocked around by a strong current, this isn't for you.

This is my favourite thing at Volcano Bay! I probably spent an hour straight in there and I'm a grown adult. The river is fast and choppy and the waves are so much fun. Get ready to get a little bruised though!

Pros:

Fun, thrilling

Cons:

Can get pretty full so you can run into people

This was one of my favorite things to do at Volcano Bay! You wear a life vest and "float" through this not-so-lazy river. I was not expecting it to be as fast as it was and that made it such a blast. My husband and I laughed the entire time and we did the river 8 times in a day!

Pros:

No raft needed

Cons:

It can be difficult to get back out of the river because of how fast the water is moving
