We actually had breakfast here on the first day they started serving breakfast. Our server seemed a little disorganized, but very friendly. Breakfast is priced fixed and includes pastries, fruit or yogurt an entrée and beverage. The pastries and fruit cup were fresh and the entrée was served hot. The $24.99 PP isn’t an issue if you’re on the dining plan, but I wouldn’t want to spend that much out of pocket on breakfast. It would be a better value if they just served entrees at different price points and skipped the pastries.

Pros:

Fun place to eat

Cons:

Price for breakfast

Although there were plenty of empty cars, they seated the two of us in the back seat with a group of 10. Service was extremely slow. Did not receive my drink order. If you are hoping for a early start to your day in the park, you should skip this.

Sci Fi is long overdue for an update. Same reels they have had since opening. Take into account that it will be loud and dark.

Pros:

Food was good

Cons:

Poor service

For a table service breakfast at Walt Disney World, this is a pretty good option. There aren't as many various choices in Hollywood Studios to dine, and we liked that we could get a table service option for +$10 (avg) than doing a quick service option without having to do a character breakfast (Hollywood & Vine). We've been twice so far, and each entree we've had (Puff Pastry, Grilled Beef Tenderloin, Shrimp & Grits, and French Toast) were all standard fare for what we've had for Disney breakfast options; although, I must say, the cheesy custard on the roasted tomato was a surprising delight.

On our second visit, I almost couldn't make the commitment to try something different than what I had the first time (Shrimp & Grits again or the Puff Pastry) so our server brought me both so I didn't have to choose, lol!

Just note that during this trial run, if you have a reservation at 10:30, you will definitely be held to that as there is no "15-minute grace period" for this time slot. The kitchen begins to prepare for the lunch menu at this time, and there is a chance that you will not get the chance to experience the breakfast menu.

All in all, we left satisfied (stuffed, even), and our service has always been great at Sci Fi Dine-In Theater to include the breakfast trial. No complaints here!

Pros:

Food, service, environment

I decided to try this breakfast, partly to avoid the "crush of humanity" at Rope Drop - which worked well. As a previous review stated, the service is not extremely quick; so do not go here hoping to get a head start on the attractions.

The Brioche French Toast was soft and amazingly flavorful. Frankly, it was worth the whole price of the breakfast. The pastries didn't look very appetizing to me, and not wanting to spoil my appetite for the main course, I didn't eat them. The fruit that was served was mostly two kinds of not-quite-ripe melon, with one piece of unripe strawberry. (Be Our Guest quick service breakfast serves a better fruit side, with at least some berries in it.)

I would eat here again because the Brioche French Toast was fantastic and unlike anything I have ever had before, and it did eliminate the crush of people at Rope Drop! However, it was a lot of money for what I ate.

Pros:

Brioche French Toast to die for!

Cons:

Pastries and fruit unimpressive

We were really looking forward to this one. This restaurant is relying too heavily on the theme and fun of the movie trailers.
My French toast was tasteless and had 2 piece of strawberry on it. Everyone in our party of 10 that ate the steak and eggs said it was very good. Everyone else went "meh". This is pretty pricey even with the amount of food you get.
We ate dinner here years ago and found the food to be on par with the counter service choices.

They need a serious kitchen and menu overhaul. If they did that, this could be a hugely successful restaurant.

Pros:

atmosphere

Cons:

food was mediocre
