Cute sailing ship experience. They fire the cannon which can be fun (they warn you so it doesn't scare you but might scare some people on the island).

Pros:

Real sailing ship

Cons:

Not many places to sit. Once you are on you can't get off.

The Sailing Ship Columbia was a treat to ride! It is much like the Mark Twin Riverboat in its sailing around Tom Sawyer Island. The ride is perfectly timed so you can enjoy the scenery as well as exploring the recreated sailors quarters below deck. Below deck is something of a museum, displaying sailor life with items that they used. Sea shanties and tunes are played throughout the voyage and contributed to the engaging atmosphere. The ship itself is impressive and fun to be on. The Sailing Ship Columbia is not open much (open seasonally and on weekends), so if it is open and you are wanting to experience it, seize the moment!

Pros:

Extremely immersive and informative throughout the ship. This attraction is on the calm side, having a much slower pace than many other attractions. The scenery of the ship and Frontierland is also enjoyable.

Cons:

Limited seating and shade above deck. No air conditioning. Young children may find the ride boring if they enjoy faster paced attractions.
