Na’vi river journey is one of the best rides at Animal Kingdom, especially if you are a Avatar fan. It is so beautiful, and the imagineers put so much work into this ride! I really recommend riding it, though the long lines can seem a little unreasonable.

Pros:

Beautiful ride with an amazing animatronic, good for all ages, a must do!

Cons:

Slow boat ride and might not be enjoyable to thrill people. Long lines might seem unnecessary.

Insane immersion, quite short but top notch goings on
It’s like the best appetizer, not a ton there in length but it’s jam packed of visuals

Pros:

Visually stunning, the best animatronic

Cons:

Short Ride, long lines

This ride gets a bad rap! I really like it. It’s fun and immersive. The ride is beautiful. I also really like the line area. I am a thrill ride person, but I do love a good dark ride.

Pros:

Beautiful scenery, colorful, relaxing, immersive

Cons:

Long lines - ride at the end of the night or first thing in the morning

I never understand the amount of hate this ride gets! It may not be the most exciting ride ever, however the amount of detail put into every scene is incredible! Na’vi River Journey is exactly what the animal trails in other sections of the park are, just in a ride format! If you love Avatar, this is definitely a must do despite the bad reputation it seems to have.

Pros:

- Beautiful show scenes - Breathtaking animatronic at the end!

Cons:

- Low capacity ride so waits get long

This one was actually pretty cool. The lights and staging in this ride is awesome. Ride itself is very slow, which was actually nice after riding all the fast ones. Great time!

Pros:

Fun ride and very relaxing.

Cons:

Not much to this ride really; but it looks great with everything lit up.

Treat this like an E-ticket and you'll be disappointed. Treat this as an evolution of the classic Disney dark ride/boat ride and you'll be blown away. Easily the most immersive attraction Imagineering have added to WDW in decades, Na'avi River Journey is exceptional and a massively underrated experience.

Pros:

The immersion and theming is amazing, the animatronic at the end has to be seen to be believed. Has every chance of being considered as iconic as Pirates/It's A Small World in the near future. Love the smell and the atmosphere. Perfect in length, has to be ridden multiple times to pick up on all of the effects.

Cons:

Add a moderate sized drop and a splash of tension and this would have rivalled Flight of Passage. Probably too slow-paced for the majority of modern-day Disney tourists.

This ride totally fits the vibe of Animal Kingdom. Such a relaxing boat ride with great immersion. Feels like you are really in Pandora. Animatronic is really cool. No drops, so your whole family can ride. The wait time can get quite long, you must ride it at least once.

Pros:

Very serene. Pretty and very immersive.

Cons:

No thrill.

I only wonder what lurks in the shadows. Who or what is watching from behind the bioluminescent flora?

Pros:

Yes, the animatronic of course.

Cons:

Lack of a Skipper and dad jokes.
