This was a reservation that my husband and I really wanted to get for our honeymoon so you could imagine we set our expectations high-- fortunately Napa Rose lived up to them.

My husband had the steak, I had to fish. We both had northern California wines. We had a park view table, and were back in Disneyland in time for the firework show. What more could you ask for?

It's an expensive restaurant, though they do have options that could work for most budgets. Overall, I think it's an EXPERIENCE worth budgeting for. 10/10!!!

Pros:

Great wine pairings, knowledgeable staff.

Cons:

Tough Reservation to get, could get expensive

I can't believe I'm seeing anything but 10's for reviews! This was by far one of the best meals my husband and I have every had. Our server was attentive, courteous, and took care of us as if we were the only couple in the entire restaurant. I have a mushroom and shellfish allergy and once I told the server - he spoke with the chef - they assured me that I would have nothing to worry about. That's saying a lot considering 90% of the menu has a mushroom-based sauce! The wine we chose was exquisite, as was our meal. I wouldn't dine there with children as it is VERY expensive, and I can't imagine many children would appreciate the delicacies offered. 😉 This was a very special evening for my husband and I, and I am SO glad we chose Napa Rose!

Pros:

One of the BEST meals I have EVER had!

Cons:

None!

We chose Napa Rose as our \"splurge\" meal during our trip for Spring 2022 Dapper Day. Our server, Hamilton, was an absolute delight - extremely knowledgeable, charismatic and funny to boot. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome, which I appreciated since my partner is not as big on fine dining as I am. When we mentioned in passing towards the end of the meal that it was our first trip to Disneyland, the next time we saw Hamilton, he had celebration buttons for us! While I availed myself of Napa Rose's incredible wine list, my partner chose a cocktail - so Hamilton took the time to give my partner a taste of the wine I was drinking and educate us both a bit about the wine's region. I can't speak highly enough of Hamilton's service - I hope someone at Disney sees this and gives that man a raise.

It's hard to fault the quality of the food and beverage here, but I will say that some of the portion sizes made it hard to justify the price. You can dine pre fixe or a la carte here, and we chose a la carte because we were ballin' on a budget. It's hard to fault the quality of the food and beverage here, but I will say that some of the portion sizes made it hard to justify the price. Our scallop appetizer was just that - a single scallop on a dollop of carrot puree, really just a taste for each of us - and my partner's steak was really just the hunk of meat surrounded by some vague sauces. I understand that smaller portion sizes and fewer sides are hallmarks of \"fine dining,\" but I left feeling as though I had not quite gotten my money's worth. Still, my prime ribeye was one of the best steaks I've ever had, and we both agreed that the carrot cake dessert was the best thing we'd had on a Disney property.

Would I go back to Napa Rose for dinner? Probably not. The portion-size-to-price ratio is just a little too lopsided for me. But I *would* go back for dessert and wine (and Hamilton). My recommendation? Book yourself a table in their inviting bar/lounge area, order a fine French wine and the carrot cake, and enjoy the ambience.

Pros:

- Welcoming California chic ambience - Incredible wine list - Carrot cake - Hamilton

Cons:

- Pricey for the portion size - Maybe not great for kids, though YMMV - Few vegetarian/vegan options

I like Napa Rose, a restaurant that Disney is rightly very proud of. However, while I remember that the meal was good, I do not remember what I had at the meal, despite eating there only one week ago. It seems that I should be able to remember it more. I remember the server and the amazing service she gave us, but I honestly can't even begin to think what sort of food I ordered. That seems to be a bad sign.

Pros:

Service

The restaurant is lovely and the service was great, but for the price point the food was underwhelming. There seemed to be temperature issues with the food and there was nothing remarkable about any of the entrees we ordered. The food came out quickly, so I got the impression they were more interested in turning over tables than providing an upscale dining experience.

Pros:

Service

Cons:

Price, food
