The new stuff Disney is coming out with for marvel is for children or empowered women! You need to go back to the comics because your average viewer is between 15 and 45 year old men not women. men that read these comic books hate what is going on! No women than are write these plots have ever read these comic books! Disney need to remember who the majority of there paying customers are! If Disney keeps this up they are going to ruin the best comic book franchise of all time! If what is happening continues I will cancel my subscription and so should any real marvel fan!

Pros:

None since Spider-Man no way home!

Cons:

Not remembering who their target audience is, making things for children with terrible plots, and letting people that I’ve never read these comics controlling what happens in these Series/movies!

Disney is now in the habit of charging for absolutely everything! If you want to go on the most popular rides at each park, you either wait in a 2-3 hour line of pay $15-$17 per ticket to go on that one ride. Also, if you pay $15 per ticket/per day to use Genie Plus, you are only able to use it 2-3 times. You book a genie ride and then can't book another until the time for the first ride starts. Plus the new app is horrible! I spent 36 years in I/T and they need some help with their app!

Pros:

There are some really incredible new rides, but they are spread out amongst the parks. The best are Guardians of the Galaxy at Epcot, Rise of the Resistance at Hollywood Studios and Avatar at Animal Kingdom.

Cons:

We actually also went to Universal Studios and had a much better experience there. Disney was way more expensive and we only averaged 3-4 rides per park per day. It was more like 7-8 at Universal. It's just not worth the money to go to Disney any more! The value you get for your money is not there. You are already paying over $100/day and then add $15 for Genie pass and $15-$17 for the popular ride. That's an average of paying $33 per ride!

Prepeare yourself for rides breaking down. My daughter and I went to Disneyland on April 5 2022. When we got there we were told that the 'Rise of the Resistance was' down. (That was the main attraction we had wanted to enjoy). Ok so we go to 'Indiana Jones' wait for an hour in line, then are told that ride broke down. Waited for another 30 min for them to fix it, then gave up. Did a couple of other rides, then my daughter checks her phone finds out 'Rise of Resistance' just opened. We (and thousands of others) run over there - the wait estimated at 85 minutes. After 2 hours in line it breaks down again, but now Indiana Jones is back up. We go back there get on it, and then it crashes while we are in the car. It just stops. No announcment or anything, we are just sitting there in the dark for like 15 minutes. This was super annoying. Disneyland def. needs help with maintenance

Pros:

World of Color (a light and water show) and Carthay Circle Restaurant, both at the California Adventure were great experiences (only reason I gave our visit a rating of 3 instead of a 1)

Cons:

Disneyland itself was a frustrating experience. With their major rides down for most of the day the wait times for the remaining rides obviously went up proportionally. I can understand that a ride can break down. But I Can't believe they don't have experienced maintenance people stationed at the rides, capable of fixing them in a reasonable time.

Inspired by the Star Wars Hotel - Disney families who cling to perseverative visits to the parks deserve this eye-opening exposure of the greedy, exploitive corporation they cherish. Though the ones I know will squint and bear it, ever fearful of exposure through immersion in real world destinations.

Pros:

Escape from sophistication, empty mind

Cons:

Escape from sophistication, empty wallet

The lightning lane is so unfair for families like ours, Who planned our vacation for two years because of the pandemic and after página for our tickets (9 per day), and after staying and hour and 15 minutes in a lane for an attraction, with small kids tired of waiting, then, when at least your group gets to boarding Spotify, you are stopped all of a sudden, not to allow handicapped nor elderly people (which is perfectly acceptable) but to let in for more than 10 or 15 more minutes (even more than that!!)people that just arrived, without waiting, because they país extra for the lightning lane! Ir is the first time in all my Disney vacations (actually this was my 16th) that I experience such a dissappointment!

Pros:

It is still a magical place.

Cons:

It makes you feel that your money isn't worth.

Please!!! Read this review and save yourself time, money and heartbreak. My family and I went on our first vacation in 4 years! We originally were planning on going pre Covid and had to postpone it. During that time my dear friend in FL whom I hadn\\\\\\'t seen in many years and who I wanted to introduce my boys to, died from complications from Covid. She had received 1 Phiser shot and this was back in February. We decided to go to go to FL anyway so we could take the kids to Disney World and do Boo Bash when we were there. My middle, bio son hadn\\\\\\'t been there since he was a year old and the other two son\\\\\\'s who we\\\\\\'ve been fostering with the intention of adopting for 3 1/2 years had never been there. It took me 6 hours of waiting on the phone to get tickets but I did. The thing that I was most excited about was the cool Halloween photos, so I purchased memory maker. We were only able to go for 2 days. The first morning was spent at Animal Kingdom. The evening we were not able to arrive at Magic Kingdom until 8pm although we were allowed to enter at 7pm.(We didn\\\\\\'t realize that we would have to deal with the tram.) The second day was spent at Hollywood studios. At Boo Bash we didn\\\\\\'t even make it all around the park and there were a few things we were sad that we didn\\\\\\'t get to experience. We had waited in line 3 times to get these cool Halloween pictures. We had one taken with the kids at Animal Kingdom for the Lion King and 2 at Star Wars Galaxies Edge. I normally don\\\\\\'t ever pose for pictures. I did because I was excited about the special effects. We were told we had 30 days to download the pictures. Our 30 days were approaching and I tried scanning the card I was given. It wasn\\\\\\'t working. So I called Disney. I was on hold for an hour and a half and the lady wasn\\\\\\'t able to help me but she gave me another number to call in the morning. As soon as I got home from work in the morning I called the number. I couldn\\\\\\'t get through. I kept getting a message that the call could not be connected. This was the same message that I received for 4 straight hours when I was trying to get through for Boo Bash Tickets(I literally called a 1000 times from multiple phones) so I kept trying. I tried that number 25 times today. Finally I started calling any Disney number I could and I got through on one. I was on hold for an hour and a half when I accidentally hung up. I called back and was on hold for 30 minutes when the phone hung up on me. Then I called again. I kept hitting 0 and saying I just want to talk to a real person. A guy picked up pretty quickly of course while I was trying to stop a fiasco with me kids who had been ignored all day because mom was on the phone. He asked what I was calling about and transfered me to photo pass. I was then on the phone for another hour waiting. The guy told me that my photos were already downloaded. He was rather rude while I searched for them. I\\\\\\'m sorry but the My Disney Experience website is awful. (I\\\\\\'ve literally spent over 24 hours(total on hold trying to figure out how to do things on that website). When I saw the pictures I was extremely upset. I had spent 169 dollars and wasted my family\\\\\\'s time and most of the pictures were pictures that I could\\\\\\'ve and did take myself. The only differences were that I was in them(even though I never actually wanted pictures of myself anyway) and my family were standing in really stupid poses that we only stood it because we thought something cool was going to happen. If the photographers who were mostly crabby and rude had told us why we were standing like that, I would have said, \\\\\\\"yeah, that\\\\\\'s okay, we\\\\\\'d prefer not to take that picture. Plus we wasted our time in line for these pictures. We took three at Boo Bash but only 2 were downloaded. The camera must not have scanned one. The ones we got were in front of Gaston\\\\\\'s tavern and one in front of Fantasy Land. Neither of these locations meant anything to us. Why would we take our picture in front of them? I have no idea? The Toy Story one the next day had toy soldiers parachuting from the sky which was kind of cool but it was in just one terrible picture. There was one of the Star Wars pictures that had tie fighters. We were standing there like idiots while they were attacking. Shouldn\\\\\\'t one if the kids pointed them out? Or shouldn\\\\\\'t we have been ducking like they were shooting at us or something? We did have one with our hands out like we were using the force and I expected Darth Vader to show up there or something instead we all look like idiots holding our hands out to nothing! Why would we do that???? There was nothing there for us to pretend to be using the force on. What a stupid picture!!!!
I was so disappointed after my stressful day trying to get through to Disney and then seeing those pictures that I immediately burst into tears. I tried to explain to the guy that I felt guilty that I wasted my family\\\\\\'s time and to try to figure out why I would pay so much money for something I could take myself. He was just getting mad at me and he wasn\\\\\\'t listening to what I was trying to explain to him through tears. I just was in shock. He suggested that I just call back later when I was able to pull myself together. After being on hold for 4 hours. I really didn\\\\\\'t want to do that. He put me on hold while he spoke to his leader(I\\\\\\'m not trying to be funny, that is what he kept referring to her as. )Anyways I was put on hold for another 20 minutes during which time I had to run my youngest to a class. When I was driving he said his leader added some effects in the pictures. I said I was currently driving and did not have access to my computer. I said that I had thought it over and I just wanted them to dispose of the pictures. For the most part I already have them on my phone and If they could reimburse me for the memory maker. I tried to explain to him why I was sooo upset. He kept saying that there is nothing he could do to fix it. I said I just wanted to be guaranteed that my review was posted because I wanted to make sure that someone like me didn\\\\\\'t make the same devistating mistake I did. I said I wish someone like me had printed this review in the first place. He took down all my information and asked if I wanted a Disney gift card or a check. I said a check because where am I going to use a Disney Gift Card. I probably won\\\\\\'t be back for at least another 4 years. He said it would be 6 to 8 weeks before I actually received the check. I actually have not received any kind of an email on this matter so I actually don\\\\\\'t even know if I will ever see this supposed refund for pictures that I would never waste my time or money printing off. They\\\\\\'re really not good. Then he did let me speak to his leader who was a little nicer. I tried to explain that I\\\\\\'m sorry, I\\\\\\'m just so upset and trying to come to terms a with it and that I\\\\\\'m terribly embarrassed because I\\\\\\'m in this public place and I can\\\\\\'t stop crying that it\\\\\\'s just the shock and disappointment that I didn\\\\\\'t get what I expected. She did add some bats in one background and a witches brew in another. I appreciate the effort but it\\\\\\'s not that exciting. The one I was looking forward to the most was the headless horseman because we had visited Washington Irving\\\\\\'s grave in Sleepy Hallow on our trip. The guy told me that that photo op was in Liberty Square, a place we didn\\\\\\'t even make it too. I\\\\\\'ve spent hours crying. I guess I spent 3000 dollars at Disney in two days I just was sooooooo disappointed. I just wanted someone to listen to me and show empathy like they actually cared. Now my hope is that others read my review and don\\\\\\'t have the Terrible experience I did.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Horrible experience that I will not soon forget!!!!!
