My wife, stepdaughter and myself had an amazing time.. everything was well organized from the parking to the train and to the park .. the staff was friendly was very knowledgeable about the areas we was trying to get to… we got there when they first open so the wait time wasn’t long at all for the rides we rode. The characters was amazing also it was mind blowing how they looked just like the character seen on tv..

Pros:

Characters and customer service was amazing

Cons:

None to give

After spending a wonderful day in EPCOT, we received such a gift when a parking attendant (John Nally of Massachusetts) offered to give us a ride on his golf cart back to our car in a distant parking lot. Since I have some difficulty walking, my husband was going to pick me up at the exit area, but John (after checking with his superior) took us directly to our car. That kind of service deserves recognition!!

Pros:

WDW employees are the best!

Cons:

No more trams to the parking lots at EPCOT.

I'm a planner. Planning things is what I do for fun. So MDE is a dream come true for me. Being able to have my trip booked in advance, from Fast Passes, to reservations, even down to the food we will order, is an awesome feature. It's easy to navigate, and I didn't encounter any problems. Depending on where you live, you do have to get up at crazy hours to book those prime fast passes (from Canada it was a 3am wake up). But worth it for me!

Pros:

Ability to plan everything in advance, easy to use, fun.

Cons:

Would be a nightmare for anyone who doesn't enjoy planning.

I will never visit Disney World without participating with the My Disney Experience. It was easy to use, it helped me keep in track of my dining reservations, fast passes and it simply allowed my family to enjoy our time together.

Pros:

Time saved at the park allowed me to get my fast passes and dining reservation

Cons:

sometimes issues with the password when opening the program

Love this. You are able to see all your reservations and tickets. You can make reservations, pay on your bill, link other people in your group that are going with you.

Pros:

Great site to help you get organized and see what you have planned and reserved.

Cons:

A little hard to navigate and sometimes the site is down.

That was my starting point to plan my trip to WDW. It can be really overwhelming with so much information avaliable all over Internet, so having a solid and easy place to start makes all the blog and forum research even better.

Pros:

It has everything you need to know for the time of your visit. Park times, refurbishment, details about attractions. You can keep your plans, reservations, fast passes, hotel details. I like the layout, it's super easy to find what you want to know and also fun, since you can customize it.

Cons:

If there's any change or update going on, it might be a little instable.

I haven't been to Disney since they implemented this whole new system, and I am very impressed with this new website. It used to take hours to navigate the old Disney dining system, and even more time on the phone.
I made 7 ADR's in less than a half an hour.

Pros:

Easy to Navigate website

Cons:

None

Please do not confuse this stellar review with my opinion of Fastpass+ - it stinks (see my review of FP+). But the app and webpage are great. Lots of info - including wait times. I had no problems with accessing MDE on my smartphone - well, a couple of times but generally always had a good connection. I changed my Fastpass+ selections several times - you only have poor choices anyway (don't get me started!).

Pros:

Everything WDW at your fingertips

Cons:

None

I had the opportunity during my 7 day trip to use the RFID on my KTTW card this month from March 6-12, 2013.

I stayed on Property at Pop Century.
At check-in they had me choose a passcode for my card, and taught me how to use the card.

What was really nice was my resort room had the RFID feature too! When going to unlock my resort room door, all I had to do was hold my KTTW card up to the RFID on the door and it unlocked instantly! Very nice!

I also had the opportunity to use the RFID gates at ALL of the parks, and it made entry so quick and easy! You hold your card up to the RFID, then put your finger on the machine and it turns green and you are in.

I like the new system.
I also had the chance to use it in Epcot when I made a couple of purchases to charge back to my room. You hold your card up to the reader then enter your passcode. It was so easy.

Pros:

Easy to use

Cons:

None that I experienced.
