The party was SO crowded. It was more crowded then if we went during a regular day. The wait times for the lines were high, the wait lines for the candy (candy you could purchase in bulk in any grocery store, nothing at all special or worth waiting in line for) were crazy long. We went in the passholders line because we didn’t want to wait in the huge line on the other side. We never even got treat bags. We kept asking and everyone said oh go here they’ll have them. No one did. The decorations were fun, the parade was great and seeing everyone dressed up was also fun.

This was our third MNSSHP and the crowds were terrible. We never did get to ride any rides since all the lines were longer than they were during the day. Super long lines for candy, and forget about seeing the fireworks or parade if you didn't camp out a spot early. Luckily I'm fairly tall and got a good look at the parade, but never did get a good spot to see the fireworks show on the castle. This is our last MNSSHP. Hopefully MVMCP will not have the same crowds, but I'm not betting on it!
Pros:
Great fireworks show if you can get a spot to see the castle graphics. Fun parade. Enough candy to rot your teeth for half the year if you like standing in lines.Cons:

Would be a great event except for the horrendous crowd levels. Our party was not sold out and the crowds rivaled a holiday weekend. Never again!

Save your $$. Wall to wall and not limited. I know they say sold out but how many tickets are they selling?
The only positive was it seemed most people left after the 9 parade/firework show. But then park closes at 12. People running to get on rides. Why not stay open till 1 am?
Food was poor and limited. Long lines for rides, characters, and food. Just not worth it or what it used to be.
Way too many locals who are there to get there big group pictures taken. Parade locations were camped out with blankets and reserved way in advanced.
Not magical anymore.

PACKED!- way too many people. Resort bus was slammed with adults in major costumes, getting in turnstiles was crazy, Main Street wall to wall. Lines- 1 1/2 to meet 7 dwarfs. Rides slammed. Food- limited places to eat. So Pecks Bills was over 40 minutes, food was sloppy & rushed. No bueno. Adults- this has turned into an fancy adult “look at me” costume instagram event. This was the first time in 26 visits that we decided to do a special event party. Absolutely never again, the last time we felt we saw crowds like that was on New Years. Everything just feels like a money grab

We went the first party of the year and it was the most crowded I have ever seen Magic Kingdom and that is including regular days and I don't believe it was sold out. I was disappointed by the new show - it's cute but unless you have a prime spot, you're not going to get much and I miss the old music which encouraged singing along and crowd participation. Also, having to stare at the castle to watch the show kind of forces you to miss the fireworks a bit.

The cast, as always, are amazing. Still love the parade (if you can fight the crowds to see it).Cons:

Way too crowded! This was the first party in 3 years where we stood wall to wall with people. It felt like a normal busy day in the MK and for that extra charge I was super bummed about the crowds.

Too crowded. Almost impossible to do anything.
Meet and greet wait times were insane. We only did two treat lines and kids gave up. We could barely walk. We never do it again.

From the lines to get in, to the lines for trick-or-treating, to the lines for rides. It was a crazy, crazy night, only comparable to when we were there over New Year’s Eve the past several years.

2019 was a flop. We’ve been six years running... I guess nothing can stay good forever. Horrible crowds... staff didn’t leave walk ways open... just disappointing compared to years past. I feel guilty for recommending people to go... making me look bad Disney.
