It’s a bit of a maze to get through but this is definitely a cool experience! Always worth the park to park pass to be able to ride the express.

Pros:

Feels like magic

Cons:

Up and down stairs

Must do for the Harry Potter fan! Slow moving train from Universal to Islands of Adventure/Hogsmeade suitable for the whole family except maybe very sensitive kiddos who may not like the dementors that appear briefly during the ride.

Pros:

Theming of the train station

Cons:

May be a little frightening for littles

This is worth riding (but not if the line is too long). This is a fun way to be transported between the two parks, but be sure you have your multi park pass. It's definitely fun, and a great way to beat the heat.

Pros:

Very immersive, and perfect for all Harry Potter Fans! Great to beat the heat on a hot day.

Cons:

Long ride, must have multiple park pass.

If you’re a Harry Potter fan, DEFINITELY try it. If you aren’t, I would maybe skip it. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and I personally wasn’t amazed, I did enjoy it, but I wouldn’t wait longer than 20-30 minutes to ride it again.

Pros:

Immersive experience going in-between Diagon Alley & Hogsmeade

Cons:

Has a long wait most of the time and it’s a short ride for the wait

Great way to move from park to park other than walking. Counts as a ride right? It has a different video each direction so make sure you ride both ways to see everything this ride has to offer.

Pros:

Calm ride and nice seating.

Cons:

Sometimes can be a long wait.

As an avid Harry Potter fan, there's nothing quite as fun as taking your picture heading into Platform 9 3/4. The platform theming is incredible.
The journey over to Hogsmeade was very fun. We loved watching the scenes "outside" our windows and guessing which characters were walking by our compartment doors on our journey.
Leaving from Platform 9 3/4, departing the train, and getting to see Hogwarts just around the corner was a breathtaking experience. If you have Harry Potter fans in your party, highly recommend that the first time you switch parks, you ride from Diagon Alley to Hogsmeade for the "wow" factor of following Harry's journey to Hogwarts for the first time!

Pros:

Platform itself is an amazing photo opportunity Disembarking and being able to leave the Hogsmeade Station to see Hogwarts around the corner!

Cons:

For my liking, this was a little too long of a ride from one park to the other--we got a little bored of watching scenes roll by on our window/screen (and wished we had stocked up on snacks before we boarded!)

This is a must do!! The level of immersion is unmatched and will bring a tear to every HP fan's eye.

Pros:

Line moves relatively quickly compared to the wait time that is posted.

Cons:

You need a ticket for BOTH parks in order to ride. So it is a tad pricey.
