This is a must do for the ultimate Harry Potter day. It's a nice relaxing way to get from park to park. The film is awesome and it makes you feel like you are in the movie. It is perfectly themed.

Pros:

Harry Potter immersion

Cons:

The cabin can be crowded

We love to catch the train at Kings Cross. The wait times are always shorter on this side than at Hogsmeade Station.

Pros:

Wait times are shorter!

Cons:

None!

One of the best rides for a Harry Potter fan- very authentic! Love getting to walk through the wall into Platform 9 3/4 and see the details of the station.

Pros:

Authentic, great story, great theming.

Cons:

Usually a long line.

Perfect way to get from park to park- amazing theming and indoors it’s perfect.

Pros:

If anyone in your party is a Harry Potter fan this is an absolute must. The theming is perfect.

Cons:

You can only ride it if you have a park to park ticket so if you only have a one park ticket you will not be able to ride.

This is a wonderfully immersive experience for every guest, not just Harry Potter fans. The ride is different depending on which park you are traveling to/from, so if you get the chance, ride it both ways. Be aware that you need a park to park ticket to experience this attraction.

Pros:

Very fun and well themed all the way from the queue through the ride.

Cons:

Lines can get wildly long for this, so it isn't the most efficient way to get from park to park. Also, since you need a park to park ticket to ride, it excludes some guests from being able to ride.

If you're a Harry Potter fan, this is a must do! If you're not a Harry Potter fan, you should read the books.

Pros:

It's the Hogwarts Express!

Cons:

They need to get Emma Watson to do Hermione's voice or have less dialogue for Hermione.

This is my favorite of the Harry Potter rides. The theming is spot on for giving you the feeling of being in a British train station and riding on a British train. Unlike the other Harry Potter rides which are challenging for the motion-sensitive, this one can be enjoyed by all ages. You need a multi-park pass to ride this attraction as it goes between Universal and Islands of Adventure. The window images are different on each one way trip.

Pros:

good theming, mild

Cons:

need a multipark pass to ride
