It feels like you are really Harry and you are really going to Hogwarts for the first time. I sat in my own train car (because of Covid) and cried because it just got me right in the feels. I love the train. The only downside is the line. You can wait hours. Many times the posted time was actually less than what I waited.
Pros:
OMG it is the HOGWARTS EXPRESS!!!!!!Cons:
the line is long and not much to do or seeReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 03/09/2021

Pros:
It is different from when leaving and returning, so you get a new show on the way back.Cons:
It does take quite a while so if you are in a time crunch I would avoid this attractionReviewed by Jessica-White Review Date: 11/30/2020

Hogwarts Express is the best attraction at Universal. The immersive experience makes you feel you are just like the young wizard Harry Potter starting his trek to Hogwarts, complete with "going through the wall" to platform 9 3/4! This attraction is the most "Disneyesque" of all the Universal rides because you feel totally swept up into the story of Harry Potter. The train ride is wonderful because you really believe you are traveling from London through the picturesque countryside to Hogwarts and the world of wizards.
Pros:
Totally immersive experience.Cons:
To experience this attraction fully, you must buy a two-park pass, one to Universal Studios, and one to Islands of Adventure, because the Hogwarts Express train connects the two parks.Reviewed by LeandroRodrigues Review Date: 09/22/2020

It’s one of the most wanted experiences for all of HP fans! And they nailed! There’s a lot of Easter eggs and ambience on the London side of the station, the “trip” in itself is not quite long but is very delightful and you can feel the chills of coming to Hogwarts or the emotional tears from leaving it. Sometimes it’s a long line and a bit of a rush, but it worth it! DO IT THE 2 WAY TRIP
Pros:
Immersive, relaxing and entertainment at the same time, beat the heatCons:

This is a must do for the ultimate Harry Potter day. It's a nice relaxing way to get from park to park. The film is awesome and it makes you feel like you are in the movie. It is perfectly themed.

Perfect way to get from park to park- amazing theming and indoors it’s perfect.
Pros:
If anyone in your party is a Harry Potter fan this is an absolute must. The theming is perfect.Cons:
You can only ride it if you have a park to park ticket so if you only have a one park ticket you will not be able to ride.Reviewed by 5and1 Review Date: 09/18/2020

If you're a Harry Potter fan, this is a must do! If you're not a Harry Potter fan, you should read the books.
Pros:
It's the Hogwarts Express!Cons:
They need to get Emma Watson to do Hermione's voice or have less dialogue for Hermione.Reviewed by tammra Review Date: 09/16/2020

This is my favorite of the Harry Potter rides. The theming is spot on for giving you the feeling of being in a British train station and riding on a British train. Unlike the other Harry Potter rides which are challenging for the motion-sensitive, this one can be enjoyed by all ages. You need a multi-park pass to ride this attraction as it goes between Universal and Islands of Adventure. The window images are different on each one way trip.
