Just experienced the seafood buffet (Saturday night) and very disappointed! The salmon was overcooked yet cold. The lobster appeared to be sitting in water so it was water-logged and slimy. The prime rib was cooked to rare and cut into small pieces - it would be warmed if you wanted it more cooked, which ended up making it chewy and barely warm. Many of the options had little flavor and also disappointed in the limited variety.

We expressed our disappointment to our waiter as well as a manager that was circulating the restaurant. They were both attentive and attempted to address some of the food concerns. The manager brought out new lobsters, which were warmer however still waterlogged and slimy. We ended up not eating them. They also refreshed many of the dishes, but the salmon remained overcooked.

We did enjoy the handful of cold salads (e.g. caesar salad and pasta salad) and both soups were very good & hot. However most of the options were very disappointing.

Living local to Disneyworld, we've tried many of the restaurants - and most are very good. Garden Grove has been our worst experience. Even Golden Coral has much better food.

Pros:

Good service; soups and cold salads good

Cons:

Quality of most foods poor (and cold): Limited options

We went here for my son’s 10th bday because chip and dale are his favorites. This place made his day. The staff went above and beyond for us with pictures and treats. The kids loved the buffet, the food was good. Could stand a few more items but overall it was great for a character buffet. The place was not crowded. We would totally recommend if you have chip and dale lovers in your group or are looking for a calmer character meal.

Pros:

Good food, characters spent more time than at other places, not crowded

Cons:

No dining plan, location- not in a park, not a large buffet

My husband and I ate dinner on a Thursday evening, late March 2014. There was 4 set dining offerings and we both ordered the prime rib. It was the BEST steak we have ever in our lives eaten!! We could cut it with a table knife! The soups were Minestrone and Clam Chowder. We each got a bowl of both and they were tasty! All the items on the salad bar were freshly homemade and the rolls were wonderful. Dessert bar had mini desserts and we enjoyed all of them. They even brought us a pot of coffee! Will definitely be eating here again. Pluto and Goofy were the characters of the evening and they were so animated! We had a great time!

Pros:

Food is Delicious!

Cons:

None

This was our first character meal with our son Max. We were quite worried, because he would not meet any characters up to this point (he was 2). However the first character was Pluto, and he noticed that Max was shy and played peekaboo with him, until he was comfortable and then let Max "steal his nose" After this Max loved all the characters and couldn't wait to high five them, steal their noses and play peekaboo. This alone was worth the price, however we were both pleasantly surprised by the food. We went in expecting just ok food, as we have experienced at other characters, but we really enjoyed our meal.

Pros:

Great Characters and Great Food

Cons:

Loud busy Lobby
