When Dinosaur first opened, I LOVED it. As a big fan of dinosaurs (how cliché, I know), the theming and animatronic dinosaurs thrilled me. As time has gone on and I’ve been on more recently, I have to say that Dinosaur has gone down a notch a bit. Still a fan, but not quite as much as I had once been.
Great things: The animatronics are fun, especially for Dino lovers (though they can be scary for the youngins). That last minute Carnotaurus is fun!
Not so great: The bumpy style of this ride is where is gets a lot of its thrills, but is also a bit jarring, especially if you’re not a young whippersnapper. Also, it seems overly bumpy at times, as sometimes you just want to calmly drive by some cool dinos, ya know? Again, I get that this is the central system of the ride, but it can be a bit tough.

I do not get the hype. Indiana Jones in Disneyland is a great ride. This ride is terrible. The animatronics are mediocre, the ride relies on darkness and basically strobe lights to make up for the lack of effort put into it. The concept is cheesy with the storyline, the ride is very rough, and the light at the picture is blinding. This ride is well liked by many, but I can’t figure out why…

This ride is so much fun. Yes it’s bumpy and yes it’s loud but that’s what makes it so fun to laugh and scream with your friends and family. It’s truly not that wild, I’ll do this ride ten times over before getting on space mountain.
The dinosaurs could be scary for young children but won’t scare adults.
This is hands down my favourite ride in animal kingdom as it doesn’t rely on screens.

I am an adult that loves all thrill rides but this ride is terrifying to me. The animatronics are impressive but they're so big, loud, and scary in the dark. The actual ride is fun but the theming could definitely scar children.

Action packed and thrilling, but it’s the same track and ride vehicle as Indiana Jones in Disneyland and that is a much better ride

Very fun and thrilling ride in the dark! The Dinosaur Animatronics can me scary for some but my 5-year brother didn't mind them. Also the ride is loud and very bumpy. So bumpy in fact I lost my water bottle on it! I still enjoy it though! It is very fun for older kids and adults! Also if you look behind you when your photo is taken, you may see a B mode replacement carnotaurus head that is not supposed to be seen, It's kinda creepy

Most people I know are not fans of this ride for various reasons, but it is personally one of my favorites at Animal Kingdom. Sure, it sometimes feels as if you are being shaken like a bottle of orange juice, but it's part of the thrill! It's great theming and a great time encountering dinos while racing the clock. If you are a fan of Indiana Jones in DL, you'll be a fan of this too!

Dinosaur was so much fun! I was slightly afraid it would be too bumpy/jarring for me to enjoy, but that wasn't the case at all. It is a little loud, and I can see how some small kids would be terrified of the ride, but everyone in our ride vehicle, from small children to grandparents, had a great time. Can't wait to ride again next visit.

I loved this ride! My spouse was not thrilled with it but did enjoy it a bit. The story is super fun and I think this is kind of an underrated ride in general.

Such an under rated and fun ride! Especially with your friends or older family members! Lots of laughter and screaming throughout!
