We have gone to Crystal Palace on every trip. This year we decided to have breakfast there. It was very good, nice selection, tasty food. However, it was very expensive, especially for those of us travelling from Canada. When all was said and done with the tip and exchange rate, this breakfast cost us $180 for 3 Adults (incl. 10 year old) and 1 Child. As good as it was...$180 for breakfast is hardly worth it. On the positive, with our 8am reservation we got into the park early and walked right onto 7 Dwarves Mine after breakfast, got a great pic in front of the castle without crowds, and got pictures of my daughter with Pooh and Friends to add to our collection over the years.

Pros:

Selection, Food

Cons:

Cost

My family took our mom on her first Disney trip this past February and I took advantage of an early ADR so that we could get into MK early and get castle pictures without crowds. That alone was worth the meal. We only waited about 15 minutes past our ADR and we were lucky to be seated in a corner. The food was buffet fare and we can't complain, but we weren't blown away or anything. Since it was her first trip mom was very excited to see characters, we were walked past TWICE because we didn't have children at our table. Had to wait for the table after us to finish then ask them to come back. Added to that was how noisy it was, we could barely hear each other from across the table. The whole place echoes like a gymnasium. But, I would still go back if we could get in before rope drop.

Pros:

Early Park Entry, Mickey Waffles

Cons:

Crowded, loud

i love Winnie the Pooh and this is the only reason we eat here. The food, like all of the food in Disney World, other than Be Our Guest, is bad.
The place is always super crowded. they could lose a few tables and make it more enjoyable.
The wait staff looks miserable except when they interact with you. Watch them.
They walk around unhappy and then they walk up to you and put on a smile. I know it's not an easy job, but do something else if you aren't happy.

Pros:

Winnie the Pooh

Cons:

food, crowded, staff

We like getting into MK early and taking pictures on Main Street with hardly any other people in them, so an early breakfast at Crystal Palace is great. The food is fresh and good, the servers are efficient, and the building is beautiful. Since we are adults, we don't worry about time with the characters, but we saw all of them on May 3 and had plenty of time for pictures. The only downside is the price. It seems like a lot for breakfast.

Pros:

Restaurant is gorgeous, food is plentiful

Cons:

Expensive for breakfast

Food was pretty good but a lot of the typical breakfast foods. Pooh's puffed French toast was very good and a favorite also the omlet station was good but had a line that I jumped out of twice because the characters were coming to the table and we didn't want to miss our turn to get pictures. I felt $100 for 2 adults, 10 year old and 14 year old was pretty high for breakfast as our family isn't huge breakfast eaters. We will probably save our money and spend a little more for a character dinner or lunch next time.

Pros:

characters

Cons:

expensive

There were plenty of food options at this breakfast, that's for sure! We especially enjoyed the "create-your-own" omelet option and the french toast. Some of the food was a little too onion-y for our taste, but overall, we enjoyed the experience.

Pros:

lots of food options

This breakfast buffet offers guests the chance to meet Winnie the Pooh and friends. The food is your typical Disney breakfast fare. Really cool atmosphere, mediocre food. If you get an early reservation before MK opens, I change my score to 9/10 for early park access.

Pros:

character dining, early park access

Cons:

high price, meh food

The kids loved the getting to meet Winnie the Pooh & friends, that is probably the biggest positive. The food was good not great. Location is nice & views out of the many windows is pretty cool. Seemed to be overly crowded, especially at the buffet.

Pros:

Views, Characters

Cons:

Buffet food, crowded

Winnie the Pooh was my favorite growing up so I had to celebrate Friendship Day at the Crystal Palace! This is a character breakfast where you get to meet Pooh Bear, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger. The breakfast is a standard buffet with Mickey Waffles, Pooh's puffed French toast, breakfast meats, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, pastries, cheeses and yogurts, cereal, and more. They also have a made to order omelette station (they make the eggs on a grill and then fold up the ingredients inside so not the standard half moon shaped omelette made in pans) and an ice cream machine (ice cream for breakfast? No rules at Disney!). We were there an hour and got to see three out of the four characters. Every once in awhile the characters do a parade around the restaurant that children are invited to walk in. Very cute! This experience for me was fun but the food was just okay. Like other character breakfasts since it was my birthday I received a birthday card signed by the characters and a complimentary birthday cupcake. If you have kids who are Pooh Bear fans this is a great choice because you get to eat and meet characters in one go. Time saver!

Pros:

Characters, variety of food, beautiful restaurant

Cons:

Have to get up to get your food and could miss a character

The food was very good, but they continued to run out of it. You could not get Mickey waffles, eggs, bacon...standard stuff. That was disappointing because you had to keep going back. It took several trips to get Mickey waffles (the only reason I am there!), so that was not good. The charecters were great though.
