A classic! You can really feel Walt on this attraction! It was a bit annoying that people could not stay in their seats in other theatres, so we had to re-watch an entire scene and had MANY interruptions from announcements telling people to stay in their seats.

I put this one in the same category as spaceship earth... it's a bit outdated but there is something so wholesome and educational about it that you can't help but walk off being happier and more optimistic.

A great attraction for people who are interested in history and more heavy and educational attractions that also make you feel the whimsical vibe of 70's and 60's attractions, in which the idea of technological progress had a big influence. I love Epcot and the retro Tomorrowland vibe with the mix of outlandish concepts and futuristic ones.
Pros:
Very educational and eye-opening ride about life in the 1900's with a catchy song and classic animatronics. Air conditioning and a seat for about 15 minutes. Also, I like to watch it twice if I want a nap the second time.Cons:
It can be boring for kids or people who aren't interested in history and are interested in other types of attractions in Disney.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 07/14/2023

This ride is very nostalgic, and that is NOT an opinion! Back in the 1964 World’s Fair, Walt Disney himself designed a show with a rotating theater to take you from scene to scene and learn about the different decades. They recently redid the last scene to make it feel like the present 2023, but now I think it just is lacking some of the nostalgia from 1964! Also, it has malfunctions pretty frequently. I gave this an 8 because overall, it’s a ride you have to experience at least once, but to get the other 2 stars, it just needs a little more work done to it, to make more NOSTALGIA!
Pros:
Classic attraction, rotatesCons:
Needs more nostalgia!Reviewed by Piper2010 Review Date: 07/23/2022

We love this ride! My 8 year old kept insisting we go on it again and again. The A/C is great, we love the song, it's nice to sit for a bit later in the day, there is never a line, and most of all, I love Disney nostalgia.
Pros:
old Disney, A/CCons:
this isn't for you if you are looking for adventureReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 05/31/2022

The Walt Disney's Carousel Of Progress is a great show, that takes you through part of the 1900's. It's a cute moving show in the AC, and will keep you entertained during your Magic Kingdom day. I have been on this ride many times and I love it! Little kids may find it hard to sit still for a 20-ish minute show.
Pros:
AC! Also a classic attraction for Disney history nerds.Cons:
needs., kids may not like it.Reviewed by TeacherManJoe Review Date: 05/31/2022

Just a straight up classic! A catchy song, with still great animatronics, and even a great storyline and message overall!
It doesn’t really get any more classic than Carousel of Progress. With a main character that reminds me of Walt Disney himself, and a storyline about progress and how even among the winds of change and technological progress the importance of family stays the same, it doesn’t really get much more Disney than this.
This is also a great spot to get a break from the heat in some air conditioning and seating, as there is very rarely any longer than a five minute wait.
One single gripe is that I think the seats in here could use an update. While I think that there is a part of the seating that adds to the classic nature of this, it definitely has seen its share of wear and tear and I think could be updated with new seats without really taking away from the classic nature of the attraction.
