This is probably the 4th time to do this one and it's the same....exact...story. The first few are fine...tells the history; but it's the last one that gets me. I really think they should update the very last scene with more updated technology. It still references "car phones" and "laser disks"...those were popular about 20 years ago. Maybe something with AI, updated VR or "smarter" appliances (not just the oven).

The attraction had "technical difficulties" when we were on it, which happens, I get it...but we had to watch the first scene all over again THREE TIMES.

Pros:

classic ride at WDW...you just have to ride it. AC, dark and you're off your feet for 12 mins.

Cons:

outdated

Listen; I do NOT hate this ride. I think it's great and it's always a good time. The concept of a rotating theater is amazing and makes this ride unique. But, I wouldn't say it's a must do for most people. It tells a cute story but can seem outdated to most due to some references and period-typical attitudes towards women (in my opinion). I don't think it's something that a lot of younger (like myself) audiences will understand. Still, good Sherman Brothers music.

Pros:

Catchy music, inside, AC, moving theater

Cons:

Can be boring to some, a bit outdated

This is older than I am and I’m about to retire… I think that says something. I know that this appeals to people who went to Disney World when they were kids from 1971-2000. I went for the first time as an adult in 2008 and literally fell asleep in this theater. It is so, so, so boring. If you aren’t nostalgic for your childhood visits during the previous century I’d suggest skipping this attraction. On the other hand if you like watching paint dry then this is the ride for you!

Pros:

Air conditioning

Cons:

Outdated Boring Dull

Let's just say it's old. Needs major revamping. My family only went in here because it was raining. Long show with a really annoying/catchy theme song :). It is a classic so I would visit it at least once, but don't make it a priority.

Pros:

Classic, Inside, Short Wait

Cons:

Outdated, Annoying Song,

I'm going to get roasted but I hate this attraction. The poor animatronics are falling apart, the seats are uncomfortable, and it's the only Disney attraction where I've ever found a dirty diaper sitting on the floor. While I'll admit, I do love singing "It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" at the top of my lungs, I'd rather spend the thirty minutes I'd be stuck in here elsewhere in Magic, even if it's just in line for Starbucks. Of course, it's a classic, but it's a classic I could do without.

Pros:

"It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow"

Cons:

Poorly cared for animatronics, dirty and uncomfortable theater, takes too much time for little payback

I know that many people love this ride and that it is a classic Disney attraction, but for me and my family it is basically a once and done. We added it to our first trip to have the experience, but will probably never choose to do it again. I'm going to say "no" for the recommend second of this review, but if you have never done it and the wait is low, I would say go ahead and check it out. However be cautioned that it may be difficult for children to sit for the entire show. It definitely was for mine. It is a bit long. My in-laws love this attraction and it seems to trend well with the over 50 crowd.

Pros:

In the air conditioning. Cool animatronics. Grandma and Grandpa LOVE it!

Cons:

Long and possibly boring for children. Zero re-rideability in my opinion.

The Carousel of Progress is a classic Disney ride that is known to most. Personally I find it rather boring as would most children. I would never go on it again and barely consider it worth my time originally.

Pros:

It it air conditioned has seating, and is indoors for rain. It also has history, a reflection of time, and easter eggs! It is also wheel chair assesible!

Cons:

It's very long getting up to 21 minutes. Which for the fast pace of Disney is long. It is also very boring and not engaging in the slightest.

This is not my favorite attraction. It may be interesting to people interested in history but I don’t really like it.

Pros:

Historical and interesting and a short line.

Cons:

Very long, kids may be board, and is outdated.

This is not my favorite attraction, though I can appreciate it for what it is if you know the history behind it. It's kind of like a little animatronic show.

Pros:

Historical Walt Disney attraction. A/C.

Cons:

Pretty long and out dated
