We ate here for the first time on 1/5, the morning we checked out. It was recommended by the concierge as a way to use up 2 table service meals on the dining plan. We are so happy we ate here!

The juice was delicious! The selection of foods was amazing. My favorites were the corned beef hash, the quinoa and the french toast bread pudding with pecan praline sauce. The bacon was nice and crispy, too!

We will be sure to make a reservation here again.

Pros:

Delicious food, ambience

My family ate here on December 28th 2012. We did not have a reservation and just walked in to see if we could get in to eat. The only problem I had is that we were staying at Kidani Village and had to take the shuttle van, but not really a problem. The buffet had all of your standard breakfast and some other nice dishes that you would not expect.
The food was great and the variety was outstanding. We fully enjoyed this meal and will return in the future.

Pros:

very good food

Cons:

nothing

This breakfast makes me wish I didn't fill up so quickly as I never really get to try everything there is to offer. The eggs are so good as are some of the more African type choices. I enjoy it all and so does my family. We go here every time we visit which is somewhat often. You really must try this great spot and it has wonderful atmosphere also. I even took my brother and sister-in-law last Christmas as they live in the Orlando area and they also enjoyed all the wonderful foods.

Pros:

The best breakfast in WDW and of course the juice

Cons:

none really

This was probably our best meal in WDW over the last two years. Chef Mickey's has similar food but you have to elbow your way through crowds to get anything. The price is in the right range and drinks are included. I don't like getting nickel and dimed for everything. We had very good service, we ate on 1/17 so the crowds were very low. But that could lead to complacent servers as well which didn't happen. If we stay at Animal Kingdom again we'd certainly do this breakfast again. Maybe if we just go to the park.

Pros:

Food, small crowds

Cons:

Can't think of any

This is a must do when we come to WDW. Great variety of breakfast foods to eat and some diff. items too. The Boma Juice is the best, and the omelets are great. Always eat more that I should. 🙂

Pros:

Food, juice, service

Cons:

eat too much...ha

We have always wanted to try Boma for breakfast and we finally did on Feb 17th. This was a great breakfast and my new favorite while at Disney. I thought the turkey carving station was odd for breakfast but it was very good and better than the ham. The corned beef and cornbread hash was so good. I also really liked the french toast bread pudding with pecan praline sauce. This place will have something for everyone and you will not be disappointed. Lots of fresh fruit, pastries and even cereal for kids.

My only complaint was our server was very slow. Had to ask over and over for stuff like she had to many tables and forgot completely. She would walk by and see a pile of empty plates and not grab them. We have had dinner here a number of times and never had a bad server so hopefully just a bad day.

Pros:

Great Food

Cons:

Slow Server

We've been looking for a reason to visit the AKL and I had one more dining reservation I needed to fill so we decided to do breakfast and we were so happy that we did. It was incredible, my husband who is not usually a breakfast out kind of guy was in heaven. My daughter couldnt get enough of the fresh blueberry muffins. The mustard served with the ham was like nothing weve ever had and the wood grilled asparagus was the best! We will definitely be back here!

Pros:

Atmosphere, food

Cons:

none

I decided to kick off my last day at WDW with breakfast at Boma.

After exploring the lodge a bit I was still half an hour early for my reservation but the Cast Members on duty let me in an I was seated right away. I always wear a Fantasia style sorcerer's hat with Mickey ears. I got a nice chuckle on my receipt in the comments section they put Mickey Hat.

Boma was open to the rest of the lobby so it had excellent and African theme and scenery.

My server was very slow to take my drink order but was quick throughout the meal to keep my glass filled. I had what was called Jungle Juice which was pineapple juice mango juice orange juice and lemonade and was very tasty.

Boma is a buffet but instead of one long buffet line it has several little pods. One pod had oatmeal, quinoa porridge, and Pap which was a white cornmeal that was very good.

One bay was a meat carving station with roasted ham and roasted corned beef. I love corned beef and this was the best I ever had. Boma also features a made to order omelet station. You simply say what you want in it and the cook instantly gets to work.

There was also a french toast bread pudding that was simply amazing!

Pastries included Sticky Buns and Cinnamon rolls that were warm and mouth watering. For picky eaters Boma featured many different types of cereal.

About halfway through my meal the hostesses started a small parade. One of them beat on a traditional African drum and they marched around the restaurant. Guests were encouraged to clap along and even join the parade if they wanted. It added a great deal of fun to the meal.

Toward the end of the meal I started getting rushed by my server. Unfortunately that is why I can only give Boma a 9 out of 10. Otherwise the meal was perfect.

I have a new favorite restaurant on property and will make plans to come back for dinner sometime.

Pros:

Great food in large quanities, beatiful scenery

Cons:

Was being rushed there at the end

Had breakfast at Boma on April 13th. The food choices were excellent, and even included a carving station with turkey breast & ham! I also had scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage & shared a made-to-order omelet with DW. Fresh pineapple, and a very good almond pastry finished my meal. Didn't find the house juice to be anything special, but did enjoy the pot of coffee. Simply the best breakfast buffet I've had!

Pros:

food, atmosphere

Cons:

none
