I ate at the Boathouse for the first time recently. The service was outstanding. Everyone working at the restaurant made sure my friend and I were having a great experience. The food and drinks were so good!

Pros:

The atmosphere - the Boathouse is right on the water in Disney Springs, which means you get some very cool views. The drinks - I had a Lemon Drop Martini and it was delicious. The staff - Everyone went out of their way to make our experience enjoyable, especially our waitress.

Cons:

The menu here is a little smaller than others in Disney Springs. I would check it out before going if you have pickier eaters.

I ate at Boathouse on 2/7/23 for lunch with a friend and my daughter. We had made reservations for 11:30 am and were seated immediately when we showed up. We decided to eat inside and the main reason I was coming here was to get some raw oysters! I love raw oysters and Boathouse is one of the few places I know of on Disney property where you can get them. The waitress was very accommodating and answered all our questions, then I ordered a half dozen of the oysters, getting a sample of all three varieties they had. I also ordered an appetizer as well. IMO sometimes restaurants have better appetizers than main meals and I like to order two or three of them instead of one big main dish. My friend had a lobster roll which looked amazing and I also had the coconut shrimp which was stellar. If you are a seafood fan, you cannot go wrong with the Boathouse. The only downs to this place that I can think of is price (it can be a bit expensive). Insider tip: there is outdoor seating in the rear of the restaurant that sits over the water on a little patio, which is very nice if you're looking for that vibe. There is usually a nice breeze but watch out for the birds who might come looking for handouts!

Pros:

Delicious seafood! Great atmosphere! Wonderful service! Raw oysters!

Cons:

Price.

Honestly one of our favorite restaurants on property. Haven’t found anything that we don’t like so far and you can find a meal within any budget. 100% recommend the Filet Sliders!

Pros:

Great food, variety of prices, beautiful views, easy to get into

Cons:

None that we’ve experienced!

This is always a go to for us. This time the food was great but the service by Logan was exceptional. She went out of her way to make our celebration special.

The Key West peel and eat shrimp, filet mignon sliders and truffle fries were exceptional.

Pros:

great food great service

Cons:

can be hard to get a reservation fairly cramped inside

Quick story: When my wife and I came to Disney for our honeymoon, we went to Bongo’s (a Cuban restaurant in DS) on our first night and loved it. However in the time since then, Bongo’s has since gone away (RIP). So when we came back for a trip a couple of years ago and wanted to pick a new “First Dinner of the Disney Trip” spot, we decided to try Boathouse, as it had good reviews. And we were NOT disappointed!

Boathouse has a nice, varied menu that can accommodate many different tastes. There are some great seafood options here, but even I as a non-seafood fan have found many things I enjoy. We like to get the Duo Dips and Chips to start, as it is a tasty start to the meal. From there, Boathouse has some great sandwiches and seafood options to choose from. (They used to have an “award winning” burger that I loved, but that has disappeared from the menu for some reason).

We were able to sit on the water and would highly recommend requesting to do so. The inside of the restaurant is nice, but sitting on the water is where it’s at!

We love as well that the Boathouse is a restaurant that has some high-end flairs, but a laid back feel, which creates the perfect spot for a nice meal with family that doesn’t feel stuffy.

All around great!

Pros:

Great food and menu variety Seating on the water Atmosphere is nice without feeling stuffy

Cons:

Disappearing menu items??

We ate here during the busy Thanksgiving holiday. We were seated right away with a walk up - but it was an off time 3 pm. If you can’t find reservations on MDE try OpenTable or just check with the hostess. We had a great time! Our server, Ariel, was awesome! She made my husband creamy horseradish sauce for his sliders and recommended a lunch size portion of the Mac’N’Cheese for me. The food was really good and the atmosphere was fun. The Razzmatazz cocktail was fun. It was a very enjoyable time even though the restaurant was packed

Pros:

Service, atmosphere food

Cons:

Might be pricy for some

We made reservations, so our wait wasn't very long. We ate outside it was very crowded, but our table was not to close to another table. The servers were awesome. We had some adult beverages(the glasses were neat) we both had the red grouper, which was awesome. By the way, the rolls were to die for, thanks, Molly..

Pros:

The atmosphere and food are above par.

Cons:

The con I could think of was there could've been more rolls.

Love, love, LOVED our dining experience here! We went for a late lunch/early dinner and had an excellent time. Our service was great and we had some of the best tasting raw oysters I've ever had. Personally, I think this is the best seafood I've had on property. I've dined at Paddlefish, Narcoossee's, Flying Fish, Coral Reef, and other Disney restaurants known for seafood, and Boathouse is at the top of my list 100%. The vibe was fun and not too stuffy, considering it is one of Disney's Fine/Signature restaurants. Highly recommend!

Pros:

food, service, vibe, excellent seafood

Cons:

NONE
