We just got back and simply fell in love with this resort! I wasn’t sure how I’d like it - because of the lack of a food court and I’m not sure why, but I didn’t think I’d like it so much. The feel of this resort is just so much like home, I can’t explain it. Everyone was so nice, all the cast members I interacted with went above and beyond and were just so friendly. We really liked the coffee/breakfast in the Belle Vue Lounge in the morning. It helped get our day started. I also liked the Boardwalk Bakery as they had these great little gluten free muffins that I’d get for breakfast, they were delicious. Such a cute little place, so much nostalgia there. The beds were comfy, pillows and all. Any time we needed anything I just called and asked and it was delivered within a few minutes. Great place to stay!

Pros:

Location, location, location -walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, charming, nostalgic

Cons:

Didn’t have any

We fell in love from the moment we stepped into the lobby of this beautiful resort! We're DVC with our home resort as Riviera and Boardwalk has a very similar upscale atmosphere. The theming is incredible and the boardwalk itself makes you feel as if you're really in a beach town. The General Store is well stocked with a bakery case and lots of Merch without having to fight through park crowds. We are new Passholders as well and this resort is made for park hopping! We started our day in HS, walked back to our room to freshen up, walked over to Epcot to grab a quick Fish and Chips in the UK, then took the Skyliner back over to HS to rest our feet a little but could've easily walked back to Studios again. Our next trip will be my parent's first time to Walt Disney World and we will now be splitting time between Jambo and here based on this trip! We love, love, love Boardwalk and can't wait to come back!

Pros:

Walkable to Epcot and Studios, beautiful atmosphere, super friendly cast members (shout out to the pin trading queen Laura), late night pizza window, fun themed lounges, lots of areas to sit and relax

Cons:

Boardwalk Bakery is not one of our favorites, the sandwiches are just ok but the bakery case items are fantastic!

My favorite resort! We’ve stayed here in 2006, 2016, 2018, AND 2019! It’s in such a great location so you can walk to TWO parks (Epcot and Hollywood Studios). The bakery is awesome, and we always like to stop by the pizza window for a picky member of our party. Amazing theming and by far the most aesthetically pleasing resort.

Pros:

Walking distance to two parks, a lot to do at the resort

Love the Boardwalk Hotel. Great theming. Makes us smile as we pull in and throughout our stay. Nice rooms. Love the access to food and activity (jugglers and magicians) on the boardwalk. Quick walk to Epcot - especially good for popping in after a day at another park. And easy boat or walk to Hollywood. Good water slide at pool.

Pros:

Location - easy walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Boardwalk theming and activity. Nice rooms. Lots of dining options (plus access to Epcot restaurants with park hopper). Pool and water slide.

Cons:

Have to exit hotel to get to most food choices (and drink refill) on the Boardwalk.

We love this resort. Everything about it is amazing. The theming is beautiful and on point. We stay in a studio villa garden view. The room is gorgeous, spacious for a studio and we are a family of 4. Two teen boys over 6’ tall, my husband and myself and it slept us all comfortably. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We love the convenience of walking to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Worth every Penny.

Pros:

Spacious, beautiful, walking to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The Boardwalk is so fun and you can see fireworks from there.

Cons:

I literally can’t think of any.

I am absolutely in love with this resort! It has tons of fun night life and amenities and activities that can keep you busy on an extra vacation day with no park pass or in the evening hours. There are restaurants, lounges, ESPN zone, and street performers, as well as an ice cream place and bakery! What more could you ask for! The rooms are beautiful as are every Disney hotel. The pool is fun with a slide (clown mouth is a little scary, but still fun).
Also above all, the location cannot be beat! You can walk to two parks!!!

An absolute gem!!! My whole family loves it!

Pros:

Location, food options, drink options, night life

Cons:

I have been going to this resort since I was 5 and now i'm 13 so that is a long time. We bought DVC here and I can't say we hate it. It is amazing. The cast members are extremely nice and the studio and one bedroom villas are very nice. I have 4 people in my family, mom, dad, me, and my sister. so I think the one bedroom rooms are very fitting. The location is also so amazing. you can walk/boat to Hollywood studios and Epcot and there are amazing views. There is also amazing entertainment when you maybe don't want to be at a park or Disney Springs. There is of course the pool and a bunch of things like arcade games, carnival games performers, movie nights bakery hair warping station and so much more. I would have to say though I wouldn't recommend the rooms right on the boardwalk because if you are trying to get to bed early to get up really early to go get a rise of the risistance boarding group or to get in the quene for flight of passage it can get pretty noisy but there is nothing you can do about that just maybe don't get those rooms. Other than that I highly recommend the boardwalk you will be leaving with lasting memories.

Pros:

Location is a big pro with walking and boating privileges to 2 parks and the rooms are amazing. The cast is so incredibly nice

Cons:

NONE (This is an AMAZING resort DVC or not.)

In our opinion, the best resort on Disney property. Tons of amenities - great ice cream shop (try the honey and the munchies!), carnival games (which surprisingly were really fun, our kids loved playing at night after a long day at the parks), great street entertainment, Abracadabar (awesome cocktails and theming), multiple restaurants, delicious bakery with fabulous breakfast sandwiches, adorable pool and pool bar - the atmosphere isn't matched anywhere else on property. The rooms are spacious, bedding is very comfortable. Love the location, walking path to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. We used to think the Contemporary was our favorite but no more - we'll stay at Boardwalk every WDW visit.

Pros:

location, comfort, theming, amenities

Cons:

none

We always stay here! One of our favorite parts is all the performers on the Boardwalk. I love all the magicians!I love being a part of the shows on the Boardwalk! We love all the restaurants and the pool is good too.The water slide is awesome. Finally, it has access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The Hollywood Studios walk is not long, and you can be one of the first into Epcot through the International Gateway!

Pros:

Pool, Park access, Price, Rooms, Restaurants, and Entertainment

Cons:

Slide is kinda creepy! The clown may scare some kids and might even creep out adults. Also, shops aren't the best.
