We ate here due to nothing else being available. The entertainment is cute and the best part. Food is average or below average. It did have the best cast member service and is what keeps me from giving it a lower rating. I wouldn't eat here again. Too expensive for the food.

Pros:

Air conditioned, good service, fun entertainment.

Cons:

Expensive, below average food.

I was 14 when going to the restaurant for the first time with my family of 5 including me (two of which were my younger brothers 5 and 8 at the time). My 8-year old brother and dad are not picky and ate pretty much everything. However, my youngest brother and I are heavily picky. All I ate at this dinner was the potato soup and rolls. I felt the variety of food was not large and they should have more options for children or more picky eaters. However, I did love the live music and how open they were to allowing kids to play.

Pros:

Live music and willingness to allow children to play.

Cons:

The variety of food was no large enough

We ate here at the end of September. It had been many years since we were last there. We were seated rather quickly and our waitress was great. The atmosphere is wonderful and the show was great.

The food was below average and definitely not as good as it was the last time we visited. While there were plenty of choices, it seemed like cheap cafeteria food. The schnitzel was very tough. The beef was just as tough and chewy. We were really looking forward to this meal, but it was really disappointing. The apple strudel was bitter and needed a lot of vanilla sauce to tame it down. This used to be a wonderful place to dine but now it seems like just a profit center for Disney. We will not dine here again for a very long time.

Pros:

Waitstaff and show.

Cons:

The food

Fraud

Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

All. We paid $500 for nothing. Waitress brought 1% of the Buffets selection as samples (we were not allowed to go to the Buffet due to Covit it was July 4th , 2021) and told us whatever we like she brings us more. It was downright fraud. Stay away and run. Buy a beer and a Bratwurst outside and watch the dinner show on you tube!

The food was alright but not what I really had in mind for a buffet. Lots of various charcuterie meats- but not the higher end kinds you’d typically want to enjoy. The entertainment when it happens is lovely and the ambiance is very cute. Pre-pandemic and as soon as they can I’m sure they’ll go back to communal seating which really wasnt my favorite. Never really enjoyed having to seat right next to strangers and make awkward conversation if there weren’t things that got the conversation going

Pros:

Ambiance Live music

Cons:

Meats Communal seating

I was not a fan of the seating situation. We went here pre-COVID and were sat with a family of 4 and another couple. It was so awkward. I think I would enjoy it more now that you can have your own table. I am also not the biggest fan of German food but my husband loved it. He said it was the closest he has felt to being back in Germany since being there. So if you like this type of food then it's for you, if not then hard pass.

Pros:

Good music and performance

Cons:

Original seating situation

Prost! If you love Oktoberfest and want to eat dinner under a German night sky while watching a live band, you should eat here. The show is entertaining and the food is all you can eat. The food wasn't my favorite but I enjoyed the restaurant itself for the experience. I enjoyed the food from the booth outside more than the food served in this restaurant.

Pros:

Atmosphere, food with a show, all you can eat

Cons:

Food could be better

I know that this is meant to mirror a real Biergarten but it's SUPER AWKWARD having to sit so close to people you don't know. We had three different groups of people at one table who didn't know each other. I get they want you to be social but it honestly made me more quiet. The decor was cool because you felt outdoors. The food was okay.

Pros:

Theme

Cons:

Food was not my thing, too close to others

Not for me. It is A LOT of sausage as far as the eye can see and combine that with buffet style- it may be a dream for some but when compared to the other amazing restaurants in EPCOT this one is dull. Don't waste the time- go somewhere more adventurous if you are in the world showcase.

Pros:

Beer if you like it.

Cons:

Just very average

This is definitely the most disappointing higher-end meal in EPCOT. The food buffet is unexceptional and prone to drying out. I think you also have to really like German food to even begin to forgive the food.

In fairness to this spot, I did hear people at my table in January 2020 enthusing over the offerings — so I understand why there people who like this thing — but I can in no way agree.

The family style seating — that is, you sit at a long bench with about ten other people — is fine and even fun if you're part of a group yourself. But it can be a bit overwhelming if you're eating alone amongst total strangers.

The ambience is super fake, and if I want to dine amongst pedestrian imagineering, I'll take Mexico every time. Put another way, this restaurant's theming makes you understand just how extraordinary Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco really is. This one is clearly fake; Marrakesh is genuine, detailed and gorgeous.

The entertainment is far too loud and sporadic. I went the whole meal before getting any music, and it seemed odd to me that there was about an hour's interval between sets.

There are two recommendations I can give this place. I found the service pretty high level for what's essentially just a buffet. Also, the only reason I was dining here was to get preferred seating at a nighttime theatrical event for Festival of the Arts. And the seating, plus the show, were both amazing. So, if you must eat here, I'd recommend making sure that you're getting something else for it.

Pros:

Service, package deals

Cons:

Food, entertainment, ambience
