Who wouldn't want to get all the Benefits from staying on site for a lot cheaper? I definitely recommend staying here especially if you have a big family like I do. My youngest siblings and I enjoyed the fantasia pool and splash pad next to it, and even the ping pong tables in back of sorcerer Mickey! Most of the family's that go to Disney world don't usually stay at the resorts that much because everyone is usually at the parks. This resort is family friendly but if it is a anniversary trip then I recommend staying at the Rivera.

Pros:

You get the benefits for cheaper

Cons:

long lines for busses.

Since I have only been to WDW twice in my life, I can only rate 2 resorts so far. My family and I have stayed in both the Music and Sports resorts. We stayed last time in the hotel off the tennis court. It was actually not a long walk from the buses to our room. the food in the Center Court was decent and since we don't spend a lot of time at the hotels our room was pretty quiet. Plus, I think going in September helped a lot for the place not being full.

Pros:

Good price Good theme First on the bus stops when All-Stars share buses depending on time of day

Cons:

Can be far from ice machines Can be loud

Was there about 2 years ago after staying there back in 90s as a kid. My boys loved it. We stayed in the Toy Story buildings. So many photo ops. The thememing was 2nd to none. Get a complete Disney experience for the kids. Rooms felt fresh and clean. Food was meh. If you’re staying at an all-star resort, probably not staying for the food anyways. If you have teens or going without kids, probably would avoid the all-star resorts. Can be very loud and crowded. Not a lot of peace and quiet around resort.

Pros:

Family oriented Themes Inexpensive

Cons:

Busy Food options Slow bus service

I've stayed here on quite a few trips. Got to stay in the new rooms last trip & loved it!

Pros:

Budget friendly allowing for longer stays!

Cons:

Food offerings not great, but okay (I tend to eat in the parks). On one visit the grounds weren't very well taken care of, but last time it was better, so don't know what happened that one week.

My family and I stayed at ASM for the first time. I did book a preferred room, which upon seeing how large the facility is, I’m glad I did. The room we were given was a newly renovated room and was very nice. The only negative comment about our entire stay was check in. We arrived at 8:30 am, and there were only a few people in line, but we waited 45 minutes just to be helped.

Pros:

Tons of storage space

Cons:

Very small room

Ultimately I can give this hotel an 8. We were there for one night/ two day trip. I was aware of the recent renovations to this hotel, therefore booked it for that reason. Unfortunately, I did not check to see if all rooms were renovated. We came in late from all day at M.K. upon arriving at our Might Duck section room, the door would not fully open. Then once in our room our luggage was not there and the room was obviously not renovated. The gentleman who brought our luggage saw the door situation and recommended we call for a new room. They offered to send someone up to fix it, but at this point I was ready to go to bed. I asked if we could switch rooms, they said it would be no problem. We gathered our luggage went to the lobby within 10-15 minutes we are walking to the love bug section to our nicely renovated room. It really made us appreciate the renovated room after seeing the old worn out decorated room. The new rooms are furnished very stylishly and clean. The queen size beds were very comfortable. Everyone we dealt with was courteous and accommodating.

Pros:

comfy beds, clean decor, guest services

Cons:

not all rooms are renovated, but this is only temporary.

kid friendly! Kids (and adults) will love all the different decor inside and outside of the rooms. It is also one of the cheaper resorts, but has more decorations than others!

Pros:

kid friendly, the themes/decorations, cheaper than other resorts, multiple pools to choose from!

Cons:

the walk can be far from your room to the main building (food court and bus stops)

We recently stayed in a newly refurbished room in a Toy Story building. Loved how modern and fresh the rooms are. When the Murphy bed is down the rooms are pretty small for 4 people, but the bathroom and dressing area was very spacious. We enjoyed the Toy Story theme and it is a great location to get to the bus stop and the dining hall. I am giving it an 8 because the bus waits were very long, we did appreciate the new app that lets you know approximately when the buses were coming. Sharing with AS Music and Sports during the day sometimes makes it hard to get on buses. Also for the first time ever our magic bands caused a lot of issues this trip which just wasted a lot of valuable park time.

Pros:

New, fresh rooms!

Cons:

Long bus waits
